Cairney - The most progressive forward passing option
Seri - The deeper midfielder, that is arguably our strongest distributor.
Reed - Workhorse, and does all the simple things
Chalobah - Bit of an all-rounder, doesn't have a outstanding quality, but does everything pretty solid.

Agreed I wince at suggestions of a Cairney/Seri combination there. Seri got blown out of it by Curtis Davies if you remember. Chalobah still has few 90 mins under his belt. I wouldn't mind Chalobah/Seri or even Chalobah/Reed for some away games.

The center of our defense has been taking a bit of stick on this board but last night Tosin, Ream and Chalobah did a good job and produced a clean sheet. There were however a few slip ups from the two full backs.

I don't think you can skip over Rodak's contribution. He did well in punching clear a few corners, besides from two important saves.

Agree Rodak played well.

I thought Chalobah had a strong game last night. Physically imposing and does a lot of the simple things well. I love Reed and I love Seri - and Tom is a club legend - we have some great options. If I was Marco I would give them all regular game time and regular breaks so they are all fresh and contributing.
