Champions League revenues, very big commercial income etc. Have you noticed how hard it is to buy a Fulham kit anywhere but via the club? Go to sports shops in Westfield (as I did recently), a couple of miles from Craven Cottage, and you won't find a single Fulham item for sale in the sports shops. Easier to find Real Madrid and Bayern Munich than to find Fulham stuff within a short distance of the stadium. Obviously you can easily find Chelsea merch all over.
