I went 50-61 % but whilst it looks like we've got decent players in they haven't all got perm experience. But I'm hopeful this time.

I think our chances are increasing because teams around us are losing players all over the place. Wolves haven't signed anyone yet, Brighton, Leeds and Brentford and Everton have lost key players, Leicester are losing key players and their star RB is out for months with an Achilles injury, with Fofana wanting away so they might be in trouble too. Southampton have signed players without too much PL experience and Forest are a total unknown with Bournemouth currently looking like they'll come bottom. I have a feeling that we don't even need to be that brilliant this year because the bottom of the table could be quite low scoring in terms of points this year. A solid CB and another wide player and striker and I think we're looking more than competitive, if we can get another CM in and a LB if there's still budget then we'll really be cooking

If we make no further signings then I'm a bit pessimistic, especially with Wilson's injury.  However I fully expect at least two more signings and IF the quality is right then I'd say a better than even chance.

100%, as always. I am always confident we will do well, even when there is no call for it. True, I have suffered crushing disappointments as a result, but you have to risk a little to live a little. Those expecting (hoping?) we go down must be miserable souls. Still, if it makes them happy, it makes me happy.

I put our chances of staying up well down from that, closer to, but as low as Phil Tuffnell's Test average (5.1).

The loss of Carvalho, and now the injury to Wilson for probably the first quarter or longer of the season, make a huge difference to our chances of staying up.  However, one has to be optimistic. Mitrovic looks in much better shape physically, and if he can deliver this time around in the Premier League, obviously that will be a key factor.

So 53.8% of the 197 votes have 0-50% confidence fulham have what it takes to stay up (most voted before the Liverpool game- which was the point).

That means 46.2% think we have a 51-100% of staying up.

In order of volume

33 votes went to 41-50% confidence the largest number of votes for any one option.

Second was 21-30% with 28 votes
Third was 61-70% our first positive % with 27 votes, which is perhaps surprisingly highly confident. Do they know better or are they eternal optimists?
51-60% confidence comes in next with 26 votes grounds for cautious optimism
31-40% comes next with 24 votes

The 21-70% range represents 138 of 197 of the votes or 70% of the votes.

Between these 138 people the split of positive to negative confidence is 60% between 20-50% and 40% between 50-70%

Safe to say the supporter base is split relatively healthily but with greater number of people feeling that we won't stay up as things stand (or should we say stood) before the season opener.

I'll do another poll once official transfer window closes and by which time we'll have played a few more games, got more signings in and developed a better idea of what our strongest team will be.

An honourable mention should go to the 17 people who voted that with the squad as it stands (which includes a late recent signing of Shane Duffy -3 squad cbs and starting pairing of ream and tosin -and an injured till Christmas Wilson) who had 91-100% confidence the team will stay up. It should be noted some may have voted post the end of the Liverpool game, though this won't be the case for all (where fulham put in a surprisingly strong performance and were arguably unlucky to not win despite being up twice in the game with only 30% possession on August 6th 2022.

I wonder what the rest of the window has in store for us and if the vote come the end of the window and end of August will see us tip from largely feeling we'll not have enough to stay up to something different and with a few games behind our backs.

It should be noted that I would say at least one of Liverpool's goals were preventable and arguably down to a lack of communication between ream and tosin. Was this an inevitable lapse due to quality or a forgivable misunderstanding that happen from time to time?

Time will tell but hopefully it won't be a negative lesson we take too long to learn.

I am aware that it is going to be a tough season  and I think our problem may be scoring goals rather than in defense as most people seem to think. At this early stage I am sitting on the fence and will not have a firm opinion until ten games have gone by.
However a few more performances like yesterday and we could be thinking about mid table.

Ream, looked like he had player Premier League year in year out, Rodak, looked fairly solid and the two goals from Mitro will hopefully improve his confidence in the PL (if it was needed) and silence his doubters!

I was speaking with Everton fans yesterday who said it was as good as 3 points for us and I fully concur, it was so much different from Arsenal two seasons ago!

I think I'm around the 55% mark now after yesterday's performance. I voted for 41-50% category.

We obviously did well, but it was one match. We've got good players but still need quite a few more to have the necessary depth.

Mitro gets injured and we're a different opponent. Palhinha gets injured its the same, tosin likewise. Wilson out injured and we play well but draw instead of potentially play well and win.

Important to keep perspective. But did enjoy being up twice vs Liverpool when they did a job on city a week before in the community shield.

Not sure I get why people didn't see cause for optimism in our pre season though, nice, Estoril, villarreal and Benfica we're all good opposition to face and we only got handed it to us by benfica.
