How Liverpool fixed their relationship with FFC

I'd forgotten about the Dempsey saga. Whilst I think relationships have improved I'd hardly say we're on good terms - look at how they tried to take us for a ride with Williams' fee.
They have done far better out of the deals then we have in getting Elliott and Carvalho for paltry fees and I still feel they would love to keep coming in and pinching our youth players at the end of their contracts for nothing and then grossly increasing their sell on fees.

I've got a distinct dislike for the way they conduct their business and we as a football club should not feel indebted to Liverpool for what they've done nor should we say relationships are good.

Also I hardly think they would have got anywhere near Williams sale price without his successful loan to us. I guess we both benefitted from that move, but Liverpool especially.
