I think I love Mick the Beard, he's off the facking scale.
100%! Diop brought in to replace Knockhaert? 🧐🤦‍♂️😂

Leno should have cleared it and if rodak hadof done it this board would go into meltdown. I'm not having a pop and leno and I think he his a good signing but that doesn't change the fact it's his fault

Tend to agree

I think overall we fought to the end and ultimately it was a fair result as overall they were the better team.

We produced very little.

At the end we had to bring on fresh legs and Mbabu was repeatedly letting the Arsenal man in behind him. Diop as has been said before offered little apart from being meat in the room, and when he HAD to get his head on a ball he didn't. I will reserve judgement on both until they're match fit and up to speed.

Pluto

I'm concerned about Diop. Mostly because of his performance midweek (why you would put that little effort in on your debut I do not know) but also because what I've heard from West Ham fans is not good.

He definitely deserves more time but I would consider bringing in another centre back option who can play alongside Ream (Duffy is too slow). Denayer would be ideal as he can also cover Reed in midfield and play right back if Tete or Mbabu get injured.

Pluto

He kept us in it up until that point though

I am really proud of the boys today. A good fight.
I played in the first match I ever saw!

ffcthereligion

Give it a rest. He claimed about 5 corners. Helped keep us in game with multiple saves and got done by a deflection at top of the league

I find the slagging off of individual players offensive and unnecessary.  Every player left everything on the pitch. It was a great performance against a very very good side. On another day we would have got a point or even three.

Well said sir but so many have players they dislike they can never see beyond that
Watching the ups and downs since 1958, wouldn't have it any other way, what a roller coaster of a club.

I really don't think anyone should be laying into any of the eleven who started.  They all ran their socks off, fought for evry ball and laid their bodies on the line. Yes there were sone skill gaps and some more obvious than others.  However, what on earth did we expect; newly promoted FFC vs permanent Prem residents Arsenal?  I thnk we should all be very proud of our team tonight, some of the comments on here and the match day post were frankly embarrassing.

Totally agree

It's funny over the years against the big boys, how many times near the end of a game,we dont get rub of the green.
It does.seem odd Mince. And there always seems to be an iffey.decision involved.

I agree they made a good fist of it and Arsenal knew they had been in a game.
We played the inform team of the Premier League in their own back yard and almost came away with a point.
Arsenal were so glad to hear the final whistle, todays performance should make the team mentally stronger.
Its not the man in the fight, it's the fight in the man.  🐘

I blame Diop for not getting his head to it, the sole reason he was brought on the pitch in the first place

As soon as Diop came on it sort of disrupted the defence - possibly an error by MS but Tete was knackered

Palace or B'mouth would have lost 2-0 or 3-0 and not even turned up. A deflection and arguably controversial second goal?

If we are up to playing Liverpool and Arsenal this way day in and day out, I think we'll finish a lot higher than 17th.

Woolly Mammoth

No complaints from me, we knew it would be tough but we made Arsenal earn their victory the hard way.
This season we are a more physical team both in height and tenacity, and you have to be to give ourselves a chance in every game.
Nobody will bully us this season and that is an important ingredient.
Arsenal are the in form team and at the end they were hanging on and gagging to hear the final whistle.
There were no light weights in our team and the tenacity of the team as one served us well.
It's a shame Tete was taken off as he held that right side of the defence up and we missed him at the back in the final minutes.
Nevertheless that was the hardest game Arsenal have had so far this season and they have the bruises to prove it.
Its not the man in the fight, it's the fight in the man.  🐘

Never forget your Roots.

I think if we can keep the current group fit and get our injured players back, and strengthen in one or two more areas, and we continue to play the way we have been, we'll finish mid-table

I think Neeskens not seeing a pass has cost us the Match massive turning point in the Match.

Disappointed a bit that we were so close to get a great 1 point in an away game against the team with the best form in the league, but overall MS so far gets the maximum out of this squad and I'm proud of the team. I hope the coaches will be focused with M'babu about 1v1 situations because he was horrific since he came in and I thought this substitute was the difference between getting a point to none, but we'll learn from this and we'll only get better.

About Leno, despite his mistake on the goal we have conceded I can't blame him, he saved us a few times and was great the entire game. He's a main reason we were that close getting a point.
