Another 3 gone this weekend, Cardiff, Colchester & Hartlepool. Ruthless this year.
Watching the ups and downs since 1958, wouldn't have it any other way, what a roller coaster of a club.

It seems managers are being given less and less time each season.

Brighton have appointed former Shakhtar Donetsk and Sassuolo boss Roberto de Zerbi as manager.

Never heard of him.

The question is are they laughing or crying on their way to the bank.

The question never asked, or, at least, never acted on:
"This manager is useless. What idiot gave him the job?"

It won't be long before a manager will be sacked before he is employed.
Story of my life
"I was looking back to see if she was looking back to see if i was looking back at her"
Sadly she wasn't

Lol. Wasn't there a manager 1-2 years ago that didn't even get to manage a game?

With his 100% win record he will always be a statistician's delight.

Last I heard Nuno Espirito Santo was working in Saudi and I doubt he will want to stay there too long. Watch out.

It's an expresion and example I use a lot.

"If you give me a job and I turn out to be an idiot, I'm not the idiot"

A true story, I went for an interview in Connecticiut and after a really good interview with the MD, he said.
"OK, one last think, you will need to take a drug test"
I looked at him and said "How does it work, do you give me a huge joint and see how I handle up" ?
He stood up, stuck his hand out for me to shake and said "We need someone around here with your sense
of humour, you're hired.
We worked together quite a while, but no blow.
VERY DAFT AND A LOT DAFTER THAN I SEEM, SOMETIMES

Leroy a few years ago.
That's the one I was thinking about.
I don't remember that and had to look it up:
https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/leroy-rosenior/stationen/trainer/4148/plus/1

Why did he only last one day?

I seem to recall that new owners were found and Leroy wasn't part of their plans. I may be wrong in that but that is what I think what happened.

Made me laugh Roger.

Watched the magnificent service at Westminster Abbey today on TV and was amazed by the precision and uniformity of it all. The one exception to uniformity - you could not help but notice that the 8 soldier pallbearers all had a varying number (from zero to four) of chevrons or stripes on their arm and the tv commentator did not explain this like he explained everything else (unless I happened to be making tea or in the loo at the time). Can anyone explain it or will I have to contact Scott Parker to find out the answer?
I think it must be all about rank as John Wayne was forever losing and regaining his stripes.

The stripes indicate the rank of the soldier from lance corporal, corporal, sergeant and staff sergeant.
