Man Utd Player Offsides For Second Goal

Surprised no one has mentioned it, Not the player the ball was played to, but the one on BDR's wing. He was in an offside position. The defense in turn did need to compensate for the player, spreading us more thin that we might have been.

Just stating the facts.

Yes - just watched it on super slo mo. The player is clearly offside and it could even be interpreted that the pass is intended for him. It even looks as it Diop even pushes up to play him off.

Unfortunately, as he didn't attempt to play the ball - I don't think there is anything in rules to disallow the goal for an offside offence.

For me I think a bad call by Diop to push up too much (and therefore out of a position where he can defend), and also Reid for letting the scorer get goal side.

I don't think our players appealed very much for offside did they? Often an indication as to whether there was anything in it.
