So good to hear! Brought my own son who just turned four to the friendly against West Ham, and it was also his first live football game (except for youth football). Amazing experience. First off he seemed a little scared of all the noise, but towards the end he was chanting "Come on Fulham"! One of the very best days, and so good to hear of similar experiences.
