What is going on been on the subs bench and hasn't got on in last two games when we are crying out for some pace with 20 mins to go. Today manor was spent with 15 to go kept stretching his hamstrings. Their maybe something in the rumours that we are cancelling his loan.

Pace isn't what you need when playing a deep lying defence, you need players that can operate in tight spaces, a skill that James doesn't have and Solomon and Willian have in abundance.

yeah i was thinking dan james might not work against a rooted defence but we had very little movement off the ball. when our midfielders  mostly cairney and pereira had the ball in advanced positions we had very few dangerous runs. this lack of movement has been glaringly obvious to me of late and its as if the only movement tactic permitted is down the flanks  or in triangles out wide so as to eventually get a cross in.
not many runs down the middle last few games.
