Twitter is down, however, Silva said after the game tonight that TC and Reed both picked up injuries tonight, TC was his ankle and Reed is his knee. Both big doubts for Saturday, but they don't know the extent of the injuries yet

No problem. Cairney not a starter and lukic ready in waiting. Great result

Great win but could prove to be costly if both are injured for long.

Anyone can blend into the crowd.  How will you standout when it counts?

Chi_FFC

Doesn't sound too bad (fingers crossed), but certainly could be a problem this weekend.

No worries, we have Francois back  :005:

Could be a good time to see Lukic if Reed is injured.

Sorry but possibly losing 2 regular midfielders is a problem. If out for any time we have no proper replacement's

It's a big problem, Harrison is integral plus a knee injury is generally bad
Also
We've seen nothing of Lukic yet, so don't get your pecker up so soon

It would be a huge problem. Lukic only recently arrived, he'll probably need some time to adapt to a new league/country and we know how Marco likes new players to be integrated slowly into the squad. Hopefully at least one of the two is ready to start oir next match. If not I'd rather move Andreas to where Reed plays and play with BDR/Solomon/Wilson/Willian as a "10" than throw in Lukic/Harris/Francois who probably aren't ready to start yet.

Doesn't look like we have any other choice other than to play Lukic if he's got. silva won't play Andreas deeper

Woolly Mammoth

Yes we are doomed to be doomed.
Injuries happen it hasn't just been invented, it is part of the game since Adam met Eve, we have to get use to it.
The more successful you are the more games you play, the key is to have depth and cover available, avoid square pegs in round holes if we wish to avoid disappointment.
If we are going to sign players to contribute and make an impact because we need immediate cover, then be careful you make sure they are of the character to settle in and have the attributes to make a start from word go, not waste weeks waiting for them to bed in, what use are they when you need cover for injuries.
If a new player arrives from over the sea and far away then the risk could be a lot higher so don't take that risk.
You spend a lot of money and then proceed to wrap them up in cotton wool and file them under the heading of  " Fragile need's special care for a month or more, please be gentle" is self defeating.

Fulham are not running a rest home especially when Fulham have a comparatively small squad. Nor forgetting the extra salary to add to the wage bill with little in return.
Tom and Harrison have unfortunately sustained injuries and suddenly all is lost. Well no it is not we rise to the challenge, and this is where you find out the character and mental strength of players, which is in adversity and in stormy seas, not when the sea is calm.
Of course they will be missed if their injuries prevent them from playing Saturday, that is football it happens to every club.
That is why new players must be ready to play a part, they are professional athletes who are conditioned on a daily basis and they have to be mentally strong, otherwise they are in the wrong job.
Its not the man in the fight, it's the fight in the man.  🐘

Never forget your Roots.

Motspur Park

Suspect it may be the end of Tom's season. Had a very good game last night. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Marcus

reckon Lukic could be a good one, although he will have to be some player to displace Harrison the Great... we were always going to have to mix and match this week, but we are growing a squad where we can do that....

TC's Sporran

the injury according to silva is not as serious as first though but that could still mean a lengthy lay off.

Cairney is not a regular starter so not such an issue, Reed is a big miss when out but surely that's why Lukic was brought in as cover??

My thoughts exactly Mr Wooly,On holiday so difficult to sum up my thoughts at the moment but you'll do for me.

Mince n Tatties

As Woolly says it could happen in any game, league,Cup,Friendly,International.
Even in training, there are lots of players out at clubs far worse off than we are financially.

So our MoM of last night and by far and away best and most impactful sub is missing. Equally our hardest working midfielder would have to be replaced by a new recruit who is lacking game time and it's "no problem". Breathtaking.

We Are Premier League

It does not matter what the question is...the answer is always BDR! Think he played a while as an 8 for Bristol back in the day
