If the thieving gits don't expect something stupid like £20m for him I would have him back in a heartbeat - also worth noting we have a sizeable sell on clause

Must be worth keeping " one eye" on him

And one-eye Emery the Villa manager!

An in depth look at the transfer window, and potential signings we can make this summer, as well as departures.

Ah, it's that time of year again! Always enjoy reading this blog and learning a few names.

If we resign Jesse Joronen as our backup keeper, I would actually quite like that - a homecoming and a home-grown spot all in one!

A few honourable mentions that didn't quite make the cut are;
Tim Krul, Isak Hien, Attila Szalai, Tom Krauss, Gerard Deulofeu and Joel Piroe.

What a piece of work, well researched sir. War and Peace was produced in less time i'm guessing.

Glad to see it doesnt look like we will be extending or keeping Dan James. Id be all over Jack Harrison however if we can be.

We'd have two players with the first or last name Harrison

Quote from: Thailand Mick on May 27, 2023, 09:52:05 AMIf we want to be fighting the big boys this is exactly the sort of signing we should be looking at. Now if Marco is interested in him Tony should go in all guns blazing. If we can add three or four signings of this caliber to compliment our best players then it should be even easier to attract high quality players the following season.

Couldn't agree more.  Time to shed this "little old" FFC thinking.  Move on and compete!

Gotta say he looks to have something about him. Namely, looks by far a better passer of the ball than Robbo already!

Ward-Prowse, for me, while he is absolutely brilliant at set pieces does not offer nearly enough in open play. Plus his delivery is not that much better than Pereira's. The only real advantage he would add are free kicks at goal but realistically you're only talking about and extra 3ish per season. Reed is better in open play and Pereira offers close to the same as JWP from set pieces.

Yes but what is his defending like? All of that video shows him attacking.
