Lets hope Luton make it our recent record against Coventry is not good, its bad enough Burnley are coming back up.

Think it will be Coventry back in the premier league after 23 years.

Hooper (referee) missed a couple of penalty calls but the home kids were in the ascendancy for most of the game. Not sure who is best out of Coventry and Middlesbrough (really dull first leg) but it looks like Luton have it all to lose at Wembley.
It was so refreshing watching a game without var, yes there may have been some wrong calls but the game kept moving.
Is a dream a lie if it don't come true?

Totally agree. It's brought nothing good to the game

Coventry were excellent last night in a much livelier game and showed enough class to suggest the Final between them and Luton could be a classic if the real Coventry and Luton turn up.  Really entertaining game last night too.

Luton have a few ex-Fulham players in their current squad.
Cauley Woodrow
Cody Drameh (loan)
Elijah Adebayo- probably their best striker.

You are very naughty.
Years ago, many Luton schoolchildren used the mnemonic 'never ever support Watford' to learn the points on a compass.

Quote from: Whitestone on May 17, 2023, 08:29:50 AMIt would make more sense to ground share with MK Dons who are only 20 miles up the road and have a 30,000 capacity.

Financially, yes. In every other way, no.

When I first moved to Luton in 1983 (yes, kiddies, Uncle Rupert was alive all the way back then) the locals were up in arms at the prospect of their club leaving Kennilworth Road for a new stadium in Milton Keynes. It was simply not going to happen. They were not wedded to the ground, but to the town. To suggest they move now, well, it will be a brave man who hopefully gets a kick out of being tied to a stake, having faggots piled around his feet, and then have someone with a blazing torch approach.

Of course, back in 1983 the locals were under the impression they would be in a new stadium by the end of the decade. Forty years later...

Progress on the new ground, right in the town centre (and only about 15 minutes walk from my abode) is moving exceedingly slowly; they've had too many financial calamities in the recent past. When John Moore played for the Hatters in the mid-60s he relates there was talk even then of a new stadium..
