A frustrating game all round...Scored eventually but too late to make a difference

Not sure about poor comments. They pressed us very well and we always struggle with that so some poor giveaways and we started the second half for 5 mins terribly. Apart from that we should have easily won that game...

Final tally 23 shots to their 8 and 6 on target to their 3. On top of those 6 Wilson just missed the woodwork twice and Tosin hit it. 2 of those should have been goals. Leno has not really made a save. Massive deflection for a shot going miles wide for their second. The football gods clearly just didnt want little old Fulham winning 3 in a row.

Tactically O'Neill found a way to nullify our attacking play. It would have been a different story if we had had the composure to take even one of our early chances, but the longer the game went on the more they suffocated our play. O'Neill had clearly done his homework on our style and had a plan. The stats show that we were better in almost every aspect of the game except putting the ball in the net. Their second goal was lucky and a draw would have been a fair result-but not to be.
