Quote from: Deeping_white on July 22, 2023, 11:10:46 PMSorry but if you genuinely think our owners/board are worried about some people moaning on FoF (which is a 365 day a year thing) about signings and in response they're going to panic buy decent centre halves who aren't remotely marquee signings to appease the fans then I don't know what to say. Also if they turn out to be good signings for the prices we pay then surely that is the point and we've made great deals?
You're not reading my full post but taking a sentence out of context. Do you really think players won't think twice about joining a club that may be managerless and lose its two best players or wait and see how things develop? It's all pretty obvious, really.

Looking at SK after 10 years his judgement is getting better ,why do I say that , because he got it bang on with Marco silva at that point in time.and think he will if needed again.
In SK I trust.

I respect your opinion, however i feel you are misguided with SK and his judgement.

He appears to be a rational decent man who is a self made very rich man, and i salute him for it.

However he does not know anywhere near enough about Association Football for you to say " in SK i trust ".
We cannot just rely on that, hence the reason why we seem to be in this quandary.
It's another case of lines of communication and a slow response to issues that can arise at anytime of the season, and did he see the warning signs or was it a case of nobody with there finger on the pulse to enable the high
command to negotiate sooner, and confirm to the Marco that he has their full backing and support to enable Marco to build on last season's performances.

If and when a situation arises like Mitro wanting categorically he wishes to jump ship, then he should be raising the stakes to bring in a quality decent striker, and they are out there and  his scouts would have identified targets and reported back for recruitment to deal with as a priority.

However i ask myself is the Chairman and his son really that interested as much as they should be, do Fulham come third or fourth in their priorities.

These are just my own thoughts, and until i am proved otherwise i would not even think " in SK i trust" or anyone else at Fulham come to think of it, basically because you never know what is waiting for you round the corner, you have to be street wise.  🦣
Its not the man in the fight, it's the fight in the man.  🐘

Never forget your Roots.

wolly I always respect people's views with the khans I was suspicious about the motives ,pricing and where we were with there interests in our club.
But I have warmed to them and apart from S/Ts I am looking at shad thinking I'm prepared to put my trust in him bearing in mind I reserve the right to change my mind.

I know it's the same old answer, maybe they have identified players and are in the process of enquiring availability, or they haven't, We never know.
Story of my life

Sadly she wasn't

Salisu is in exactly the same boat, Diop was in at Weat Ham when we signed him. Let silva work with him, it will all work out well

Don't be ridiculous. That statement reeks of common sense.
