STATS

When the club and in particular TK, talk about using STATS. We have hissy fits, foot stamping and insults posted from some on the board.

But, when we're discussing possible signings; the threads have people quoting STATS without any comments about them being used to assess a players worth to the club.

How odd !

The interesting bit is lamenting all the stats and then quoting Brentford or Brighton as positive examples when they are more stat driven.

Statistically speaking most people on the inter web like stats because they can look them up with a few taps of their fingers and look clever.

In my day we had to go to Rothmans yearbook and a few other specialised football books and work things out.

Life. medicine, financial predictions, world weather  are all based on stats. Statistically most of them will be wildly inaccurate. That is a fact.

So right, I feel that often we forget to ask important questions such as do you really want to play for Fulham.

I would like to look back at some of our best loved players to see what their stats were like, Tosh to start with.
