Not exactly panic stations yet, but 3 games of interest today concerning teams down their and around us.

Burnley v West Ham

Luton v Crystal Palace

Sheffield Utd v Bournemouth

Assuming we want wins for West Ham, Crystal Palace and Bournemouth?

Let us know your thoughts below

Somerset Fulham

I'll go West Ham, Luton and a draw but would be happy with your choices too.

Woolly Mammoth

I hope we can manage to achieve enough points under our own steam, as relying on other teams to fail at any stage signifies we are in dangerous territory.

I suppose it depends a lot on who we can hold on to in January and who we can sign in January.
We cannot rely on injuries clearing up as there is always players injured every week.

So from this stage onwards we have to pick up points in as many matches as we can no matter who we play.
Because we are capable of losing to any of these teams on any given day.
A lot depends on which teams can put a decent run together.

So naturally at this stage if you twist my arm, i hope to see West Ham and Crystal Palace and Bournemouth win.
Nevertheless it is up to Fulham not to get dragged in to a relegation battle, as it could be a bumpy ride.

I shall be at the game on Monday and i am hoping Fulhams performance and scoreline will warm me up, and we will be on fire. 🔥 🔥

Forest up early, FFC keeps drifting.....

Bournemouth up early too....

Somerset Fulham

Bournemouth are always going to beat United, and Forest not looking so good.

Does that mean that Fulham are surging?

DadCreature

Not great results so far.  FFC need to find points and prove we deserve to stay up.

Friendsoffulham

Luton 2-1 Crystal Palace
Sheff United 1-3 Bournemouth
Burnley 1-2 West Ham

Worked out OK bar Luton result. Can't see them beating many this year though.

Still 7 points from relegation and a game in hand. Hopefully we put Wolves away on Monday and give ourselves some breathing room

Eton White

If we can win on Monday, that will really put some light between us and the relegation places.

It's a fairly big if, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Now of course the way this is supposed to work is that Raul gets a scorcher and jinx's into the box for a winning second and Trarore terrorises the defence and Wolves go down to nine men. That's how it would in reverse anyway😱

Pretty unlikely given that Traore (not Trarore) is out injured.

We totally are in a battle. We could have done without Luton winning that's for sure. Everton are not going down so that third spot is definitely going to be a battle for teams like us to avoid. A win against wolves is very important for us.

Lighthouse

It is far too early in the season to start this relegation battle nonsense. Let's at least wait until after the Christmas games and the January window before the speculation about relegation hits the fan.

Without Mitro and with the loss of form of many players and the in jury list. It has been a hard season so far. But I still wait until there are no signs of improvement before the usual bed wetting.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

Wolves are a very good side - outplayed Spurs and really hassled them

An injury hit Spurs who were missing several regular starters through injury and suspension, including both CB's and the hugely influential James Maddison. The Spurs team that Wolves faced was a shadow of the team we played a couple of weeks before so it came as no surprise that Wolves beat Spurs.
Wolves will be without Pedro Neto and Craig Dawson on Monday which is good news. Although they're on a decent run and full of confidence they're not world beaters so as long as we play our A game we have a great chance of taking all the points.

They beat Man City too

Bournemouth and Everton are going to be around or above us come the end of the season, and if Luton put a run together we're in real trouble. Bit of pressure on Monday's game now. Criminal that this is where are, given the platform for better things that last season represented.

Most people are assuming, probably fairly, that we'll be spending some cash in the January window - big rumours around Andre - a seemingly top talent - and links to players like Nusa and other forward options.

We have alot to spend in the coffers.
As for it being criminal, no team has a divine right to be in the premier league. We had a good season last year above expectation - but lost our striker to saudi money, and face major uncertainty around Palhinha and our manager in the summer, not alwats the easiest to build when thats going on.
If we can bring in a bit of quality in key postions in January well be absolutely fine.

Well just for the hell of it go with the first bit and I'll erase R from my keyboard.
