Up next: Wolverhampton Wanderers (h)
Marco Silva has spoken an awful lot in the build up to tonight's meeting with Wolverhampton Wanderers about the need for his Fulham side to put an end to their poor form which threatens to drag them further into the relegation conversation towards the foot of the Premier League table. It is a theme to which several players have returned in the run-up to the televised contest at Craven Cottage, with Timothy Castagne talking about moving up the table and planning a serious assault on the League Cup whilst a refreshed Antonee Robinson has spoken of the need to 'turn the tide' of a poor run of results.

Silva knows that ending a four-match winless run won't be easy against an improving Wolves side, who are beginning to flourish under the leadership of Gary O'Neill. O'Neill's side have lost only one of their last seven league matches and head to London in good form in front of goal, having scored in each of their last eleven Premier League matches – their most potent record since 2019. They haven't kept a clean sheet away from home since beating Everton at Goodison Park in August and having won a top-flight encounter in London in eleven attempts, although Wolves will be buoyed by a fantastic record at Craven Cottage.

The recent head-to-head record certainly favours the visitors. After two draws last season, Fulham are without a win over Wolves in six matches since Ryan Sessegnon and Aleksandar Mitrovic stunned the league leaders to reignite the Whites' Championship promotion push in 2018. You have to go back to March 2012 when Fulham thumped Terry Connor's side 5-0 at Craven Cottage for Fulham's last Premier League success – something that Silva will want to put right this evening. If you want even more bad omens, Fulham have lost all of their last six Premier League games to be played on a Monday night. The task will certainly be tougher without the suspended Joao Palhinha, who has been the heartbeat of Fulham's midfield since arriving from Sporting Lisbon last summer, and that will give the Portuguese head coach something of a selection puzzler.

Harrison Reed would be the like-for-like replacement for Palhinha. Industrious in his running and a good reader of the game, the former Southampton schemer was a solid defensive midfielder – who starred in a disappointing relegation campaign under Scott Parker – until Silva reshaped the 'special one Iniesta' into more of a box-to-box operator. Reed has had to make do with a place on the bench since his boss paired new signing Alex Iwobi with Palhinha in the last couple of fixtures before the international break, but the Nigerian lost his runner for Aston Villa's opener in Fulham's last defeat – and Reed's defensive diligence could prove handy against a Wolves side who are dangerous on the counter-attack.

Silva should have the services of Tosin Adarabioyo available again after the centre back finally returned to full training, whilst Kenny Tete could come back in at right back. The Fulham head coach has put his faith in former Wolves striker Raul Jimenez to haunt his old club after opening his Cottagers account in the Midlands a fortnight ago, but the Mexican veteran will need more movement and invention from the midfield – especially Andreas Pereira – in order to cause havoc this evening. Most crucially of all, the Whites will have to start at a high tempo than they have done in previous outings in what already feels like something of a six-pointer.

Wolves will be boosted by the availability of former Fulham loanee Mario Lemina, who is fit to take his place in midfield despite rolling his ankle whilst representing Gabon last week. Lemina has popped up with a couple of big goals already during this campaign and Fulham will need to watch a number of threats in O'Neill's line-up, especially the dangerous Hwang Hee-chan and Matheus Cunha.

MY FULHAM XI (4-2-3-1): Leno; Tete, A. Robinson, Bassey, Ream; Reed, Iwobi; Wilson, Willian, Pereira; Jimenez. Subs: Rodak, Ballo-Toure, Adarabioyo, Castagne, Lukic, Cairney, De Cordova-Reid, Harris, Vinicius.

How does a Palhinha-less midfield look against Wolves?

Jack Stroudley looks at our midfield options without the suspended Joao Palhinha.

As we head into our first game after the international break, a positive result is almost a necessity following good results for Luton and Bournemouth on Saturday but with Joao Palhinha suspended it could be a very tough task. Nevertheless, which players should Marco Silva go to in an attempt to fill a Joao-sized hole?

Sasa Lukic

The Serbian feels like the most nailed-on player for me on Monday night. Since the start of the season he's really settled and looks a very good asset to have. Someone who can sit back if needed but also progress the ball forward and create chances for more attack minded players, he has to start.

Tom Cairney

The fact we don't start Cairney frequently shows just how strong we are midfield, our club captain is always a reliable option to have and always seems to be one step ahead of the opposition. I think he wouldn't suit a game without a tough-tackler like Palhinha so for me, he'll remain on the bench.

Harrison Reed

Outside of Palhinha, Harrison Reed is probably the most defensively minded midfielder we have, but his game time has been more sporadic this season. His tenacity in midfield was such a valuable asset last season and his ability to drift into wide positions was a severely underrated part of his game. I'd quite like him to start alongside Lukic in the midfield two.

Alex Iwobi

I know some people will be reading this wondering where Alex Iwobi comes into this. The Nigerian has really impressed me since joining from Everton and has been one of the few players to spark some creativity in this Fulham side at the moment. Because of this, he starts in a more attacking role for me instead of Andreas Pereira who's been a bystander for large parts of the season so far.

29 goals last season: Crystal Palace, Fulham looking to bring 28-year-old back to England
Crystal Palace and Fulham are reportedly keen on signing the Ajax forward Chuba Akpom.

A report from TeamTalk claims that the two Premier League clubs are looking to bring the 28-year-old back to English football and it remains to be seen whether they can secure an agreement with Ajax. They have already made enquiries for the player.

Apparently, the Dutch outfit are ready to consider a loan deal in January, and it could prove to be a quality acquisition for both clubs.

Akpom was outstanding in the Championship last season and he scored 29 goals across all competitions for Middlesbrough. He was chosen as the Championship Player of the Year as well.

The opportunity to return to English football could be an attractive option for him and he will certainly be excited to showcase his qualities in the Premier League.

It would be a major step up in his career and he will be determined to prove himself in the top flight of English football. Signing a player of his quality on loan could prove to be a shrewd investment for the two clubs as well. It would leave them with resources to strengthen the other areas of their squad.

Crystal Palace need to add more depth through their attack and Akpom could share the goalscoring burden with Odsonne Edouard and Jean-Philippe Mateta.

As far as Fulham are concerned, they are yet to bring in a quality replacement for Aleksandar Mitrovic and the 28-year-old Ajax forward could be a useful alternative.

Quote from: filham on November 27, 2023, 10:23:36 AMAkpom from Ajax is the latest striker rumoured to be a possible Fulham signing in January.
Has anyone kept a note of the strikers we are rumoured to be chasing pre January.
I bet that come the end of January we will be waiting for that window closing day bargain with all of these rumoured players gone to other clubs.

At a press conference during the last window - MS is reported to have said that he decides who we sign and indicated that he'd rejected several players, who'd been rumoured to be on our radar.

So like you I hope that someone he likes will agree to sign this time round.
It could be better, but it's not a fantasy:

Club director has called entourage of Fulham striker – Player seems keen on move in January
Brazilian side Palmeiras are reportedly moving for the signing of Fulham striker Carlos Vinícius.

According to journalist Jorge Nicola, the Verdão had previously been interested in the centre-forward and now 'reopened' talks to get him.

It's said that Palmeiras director Anderson Barros had a phone call with the Carlos Vinícius' representatives to understand his situation at Fulham.

The striker only has 308 minutes played for the Craven Cottage this season, with two goals scored so far.

Back at the start of last week, the very same Jorge Nicola had already brought the information that the Whites are interested in the signing of Pedro from Flamengo.

In case that transfer goes through, then Carlos Vinícius would have even less importance in Fulham's squad, and that's something that Palmeiras are monitoring, as that could turn into a big opportunity for them in the winter market.

The Brazilian club are said to be following the striker for at least three windows, and this could be the right time to get him signed.

According to Nicola, the player sees a return to Brazil 'with good eyes', as he believes that doing well in his home country could result in a call-up to the national team.

Fulham v Wolves: All you need to know
Get all the stats, manager quotes and details in the final fixture of Matchweek 13

Fulham host Wolverhampton Wanderers at Craven Cottage on Monday night with both sides look to build a gap between themselves and the bottom three.

Marco Silva's Fulham are winless in their last four Premier League matches, last picking up three points against Sheffield United in early October and have found goals hard to come by this season since losing Aleksandar Mitrovic. Fulham have scored just 10 times in 12 league matches.

Wolves on the other hand entered the international break on a high after beating Tottenham Hotspur late on at Molineux. Pablo Sarabia and Mario Lemina both scored in stoppage time to give Wolves a 2-1 victory. Gary O'Neil's side could move into the top half of the table with a win.

Team news
Joao Palhinha is suspended for Fulham after accumulating five yellow cards. Issa Diop, Adama Traore, Rodrigo Muniz and Tyrese Francois are all sidelined for the hosts, but Tosin Adarabioyo could make his return.

Craig Dawson will miss out for Wolves through suspension. Pedro Neto is still recovering from a thigh injury.

Last five meetings
24 Feb 2023: Fulham 1-1 Wolves
13 August 2022: Wolves 0-0 Fulham
09 April 2021: Fulham 0-1 Wolves
04 October 2020: Wolves 1-0 Fulham
04 May 2019: Wolves 1-0 Fulham

Key facts
The last six Premier League meetings between Fulham and Wolves have produced only seven goals, two for Fulham and five for Wolves, with no side netting more than once in a match in this time.

Fulham have alternated between defeat and victory in their five Premier League home matches this season having lost three and won two.

Wolves have scored at least once in each of their last 11 Premier League encounters. It's their longest scoring streak since a run of 18 between August and December 2019.

With seven goals each, only Arsenal and Liverpool have more strikes in the final 10 minutes of Premier League games this season than Wolves, who have scored six. Three of those goals have been the winning goal (more than any other side), all of which have come in the 86th minute or later.

What the managers have said
Marco Silva: "Of course, they are confident right now and we respect that. We know that Gary's doing a good job, last season as well at Bournemouth too, and of course we know what they are capable to do. It is up to try to do better." More here

Gary O'Neil: "They're a good side, offer a real threat, the wide players, Willian, Harry Wilson or Bobby De Cordova-Reid, who I played with at Bristol City. Premier League away games are tough, we've won a couple so far and it'd be good to win another one." More here

Fulham eyeing move for 'terrific' forward in January who can score all different types of goals
Fulham's search for a new centre-forward in the January transfer window continues and they now reportedly want to sign Ajax striker Chuba Akpom.

A report from TEAMTalk has revealed that the Whites are one of several Premier League teams looking at the 28-year-old.

Fulham begin a really important run of games in a short space of time now that the final international break of the season is over.

Their first test is the visit of Wolves this evening with both teams looking over their shoulder especially after victories for Bournemouth and Luton at the weekend.

Marco Silva's side haven't hit the same heights as last season and much of that is down to the loss of Aleksandar Mitrovic.

Not only have his goals not been replaced, but the likes of Andreas Pereira and Willian have suffered as a result of his absence.

Fulham have to find a solution to avoid being dragged into a relegation battle and want to sign Chuba Akpom as his replacement.

The 28-year-old was the top scorer in the Championship last season and earned a move to Ajax in the summer.

However, he's reportedly available just six months after that move and could now end up at Craven Cottage.

Fulham want to sign Akpom in January
The report from TEAMTalk suggests Everton and Crystal Palace are also among the teams eyeing a move for Akpom.

He's only started two matches for Ajax but is just one goal below the club's top scorer Steven Bergwijn right now.

Akpom is reportedly open to a move to a Premier League club which is most likely to be a loan deal at this stage considering he's currently on a contract that runs until 2028.

He starred in England's second tier last year, with Middlesbrough manager Michael Carrick saying last season: "It's not easy to score that many goals. He's scored all different types of goals for us since I've been here. I thought his performance was fantastic.

"He gets credit for his goals but his performance all round was terrific."

The club's scouting department has their work cut out finding the right striker to add to the squad in January.

Fulham have also been linked with Jonas Wind and it's clear with these links to Akpom that they want a well-rounded striker rather than just a direct Mitrovic replacement.

While that might be a good strategy in the long term, Silva's team still looks too accustomed to playing with a forward in the same mould as the Serbian.

The upcoming run of games will have a huge impact on the club's ambitions in the January transfer market.

If Raul Jimenez finds the back of the net against his old club tonight then suddenly the outlook could be much more positive.

ommy Doyle says Wolves have an 'incredible' player on their hands ahead of Fulham clash
Tommy Doyle has branded Pablo Sarabia 'incredible', as Wolves prepare to take on Fulham tonight in the Premier League.

Wanderers are back in Premier League action following the international break and have the opportunity to go 10th in the table with a win.

Fans are feeling optimistic after the brilliant 2-1 comeback win over Tottenham Hotspur a couple of weeks ago, which was inspired by Pablo Sarabia.

The Spaniard came off the bench for the closing stages and scored a stunning equaliser, before setting up Mario Lemina for a last-gasp winner.

It has been a tricky spell on the whole so far for Sarabia at Wolves, but Doyle reckons Gary O'Neil has got a special player on his hands...

Tommy Doyle brands Pablo Sarabia 'incredible'
Doyle was given his thoughts ahead of tonight's game with Fulham to the Express & Star, and is hopeful of starting the game.

He was perhaps a little unlucky not to start against Spurs, but he was crucial coming off the bench at the end, as well as Sarabia. His quick thinking helped to get Sarabia away to play in Lemina for the goal.

Perhaps O'Neil will start both players this evening, with Doyle really impressed by the 31-year-old. He said: "Every player doesn't want to be on the bench. I want to play every game from the start. I've only just come here I need to work hard and stay focused. I need to help the team as much as I can. I've been able to do that.

"As have others, especially against Spurs – Pablo was incredible when he came on. That's what we do here."

Sarabia's goal was hailed by many, with Micah Richards saying after that it was his goal of the season so far, and Garth Crooks branding it 'memorable'.

Sarabia was incredible vs Spurs – he could be key tonight
After such a brilliant impact against Spurs, it would be a surprise if Sarabia was not rewarded with a start tonight against Fulham, especially with O'Neil having suggested the player had been really good in training before that amazing cameo.

Potentially, the £90,000-a-week star could be key tonight for Wolves. He'll be feeling very good after his last appearance, and he did actually score his first Wolves goal in this fixture last season back in February.

It's possible O'Neil could bring him in in place of Jean-Ricner Bellegarde. It would be very harsh to drop the Frenchman, but he'd be the most likely player to make way to accommodate Sarabia.

Fulham have increased demands for forward's January exit – Club want Silva's side to drop it
Atlético Mineiro's chase for Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz has just become a lot more difficult, according to reports from Brazil.

Journalist Thiago Fernandes comes up on YouTube to say that the Whites have increased their request for the striker's transfer.

It's said Fulham now demand €8m for the move, and Atlético consider that price to be too high.

According to Fernandes, the Belo Horizonte club are now only moving for the signing in case the Whites considerably drop their request.

It's claimed that Grêmio also got interested in Muniz and made an approach last summer, but at this time, it's really only Atlético Mineiro who are trying his signing.

Featuring for Fulham this season, Muniz has one goal in eight appearances, and has mostly been used as a back-up option, but has recently been out of the side with a knee injury.

Recent reports from Brazil had claimed that the player was Atlético Mineiro's 'Plan A' for the 2024 season, but it now seems like the request made by the Craven Cottage side was like a bucket of cold water on their efforts to get him.

Exclusive: Werner 'apprehensive' about Premier League return with West Ham, Palace, Fulham dealt blow
Timo Werner is apprehensive about a potential return to London this winter with West Ham, Crystal Palace and Fulham all eyeing up a move, TEAMtalk has learned.

The Hammers are most interested in the prospect of a loan move for the RB Leipzig striker in January, though Fulham and Crystal Palace have been linked.

Indications from insiders in Germany are suggesting that such a move is unlikely though, as the former Chelsea man does not have much appetite for the Premier League in this moment.

Werner spent time with Chelsea between 2020 and 2022, making 89 appearances for the Blues but his £47.5million move was regarded a flop as he returned 23 goals and 21 assists.

His form in the Premier League was a problem and his relationship with Thomas Tuchel turned sour as he struggled to live up to the reputation he had built before Chelsea triggered his release clause to take him from Leipzig to London.

West Ham's interest is believed to be serious as they scour the globe for options to boost their attacking options in the new year, and recruitment staff are prepared to explore Werner's current situation at Leipzig thoroughly.

Werner has seen limited game time this season and is currently struggling with injury but there has been an intent to discover the terms that would be needed to sign him on loan.

The 27-year-old has made 13 appearances so far this season, netting two goals and one assist in those outings. Werner has started just four games this season and has played less than 400 minutes of first team football.

West Ham, Fulham, Crystal Palace handed big blow
However, TEAMtalk understands it will take some great persuasion skills to get Werner back to London as he is scarred by the way his time ended at Stamford Bridge and would rather work to get his place back in the team at RB Leipzig, or make a move within the Bundesliga.

Time is running out for Werner to show Germany boss Julian Nagelsmann he can help with their ambitions to achieve success at Euro 2024.

Werner is behind Lois Openda, Benjamin Sesko and Yussuf Poulsen in the pecking order at Leipzig and indications from Germany suggest his club are open to letting him leave in the winter window.

But they would not force him out and it will be interesting to see how his situation pans out over the next month.

It is understood Werner currently earns close to £200,000-a-week.

Real Madrid are also being linked with a Werner loan move too, at a time when they are reeling from news that Vinicius Junior has suffered an injury during the international break.

Fulham player 'has been offered' to club for January deal – Club have to decide 'by Christmas'
Tosin Adarabioyo wasn't successful in his efforts to get a move away from Fulham in the last window. The defender had reportedly received interest from AS Monaco and a few English clubs but a deal didn't take shape.

The centre-back made one appearance this season and it came in Fulham's 2-2 draw against Arsenal back in August. since then, he was sidelined with a groin injury and has now regained full fitness.

Although the 26-year-old is yet to return to the pitch, there's been movements going on behind the scenes with regards to his future. Romagiallorossa.it say he 'has been offered' to AS Roma for the winter market.

Chris Smalling's injury concerns and Evan Ndicka's participation at the AFCON with Ivory Coast at the start of next year has seen José Mourinho ask for a new centre-back in the next window.

It's claimed intermediaries are proposing the player to several European clubs, including the Serie A side.

The report adds Roma, led by their general manager Tiago Pinto, have to make a decision 'before Christmas', over a potential deal to sign for Adarabioyo in January.

Adarabioyo's deal runs down in 2024 and the next window will give Marco Silva's side the last opportunity to cash in from his sale.

REVEALED: A Premier League legend is set to join Jamie Carragher in the hot seat on Monday Night Football as Gary O'Neil's Wolves look to secure back-to-back Premier League wins against Fulham

A Premier League legend is set to replace Gary Neville on Monday Night Football
He'll join Jamie Carragher ahead of the match between Fulham and Wolves

A Premier League legend will join Jamie Carragher on tonight's Monday Night Football (MNF) as Fulham host Wolves at Craven Cottage.

Gary O'Neil's side come into this match off the back of a huge victory against Tottenham before the international break, defeating Ange Postecoglou's side 2-1 at Molineux to secure their fourth win of the season, putting them 12th in the table.

Fulham, meanwhile, have suffered back-to-back defeats in their last two Premier League outings having failed to win in their last four matches in the competition. Having struggled to pick up their form of last season, Marco Silva's side need a win at home on Monday too pull them up the table and away from the relegation places.

The game will be shown live on MNF, with Sky Sports set to welcome former Arsenal legend Freddie Ljungberg on as a special guest in place of Gary Neville.

The Swedish ex-pro, who enjoyed a storied career with Arsenal, winning two Premier League titles and three FA Cups, will join Jamie Carragher and David Jones on the show.

He was also a part of Arsenal's unbeaten 'Invincibles' season, making 30 appearances during that campaign.

It comes after his former side, Arsenal, went top of the Premier League on Saturday, after Mikel Arteta's side beat Brentford 3-0 at the GTech Community Stadium.

Ljungberg, who joined Arsenal in 1998 before leaving the club for London rivals West Ham, scored 72 goals across 328 appearances in all competitions for the Gunners.

Having retired in 2015, following stints in the MLS, a six-month spell at Celtic and four months playing for Mumbai City, Ljungberg stepped into coaching, working as a manager for the Arsenal youth teams.

He would go on to be appointed their assistant manager in 2019, before taking the interim manager's position between Unai Emery's departure and Arteta's arrival at the club in 2019.

While the Spaniard has vastly changed his team since he took over, Ljungberg, who took charge for six games suffering two losses and one victory in that time, will be a great guest to offer his opinions on how the Premier League season is playing out.

After Arteta took over, Ljungberg took on a coaching position in the Spaniard's staff, but ultimately decided that it was best for him to leave and find a new position elsewhere.

Speaking on his decision to leave the club, he said to Sky Sports: 'I felt I'm ready to manage myself and do be able to do that I felt I had to leave and stand on my own two feet.

'It wasn't an easy decision but I needed to do it for my career.'

Since then, he has not taken up another coaching position but tonight, as well as previewing Wolves' match against Fulham, could field questions from Carragher on Aaron Ramsdale's future at Arsenal, Kai Havertz's goal and Arteta's recent VAR rants.

Fulham identify Chelsea striker Armando Broja as a key January target with Marco Silva's side eyeing up several replacements for Aleksandar Mitrovic

Fulham are eyeing up a move for Chelsea striker Armando Broja in January
They are looking at several options to replace striker Aleksandar Mitrovic

Chelsea striker Armando Broja is a January target for Premier League neighbours Fulham.

The Craven Cottage club are in the market for a forward after losing Aleksandar Mitrovic to Al-Hilal in August.

They are admirers of Serhou Guirassy at Stuttgart but know they face plenty of competition for the in-form 27-year old so are assessing a number of options with Jonas Wind of Wolfsburg also on their radar.

Broja is fit again after recovering from a serious knee injury and has made six appearances this season, including a start against Fulham where he scored in a 2-0 win.

However, he still needs more game time to get into his stride and with Chelsea in the market for another striker this January, they will consider allowing Broja out on loan.

Fulham are eyeing up a January transfer swoop for Chelsea striker Armando Broja

Marco Silva's side have largely struggled in front of goal this season, scoring only 10 times, and the Portuguese manager seems keen to reinforce his striker stocks

While Broja was ruled out for the majority of last season, he has come back into the fold for Chelsea during the 2023-24 campaign, notably scoring against Fulham in their 2-0 win

Fulham like Broja's style which has hallmarks of Mitrović and his Premier League experience is another bonus.

Other Premier League sides will also be monitoring developments but Fulham could prove well placed.

They remain in discussions with Fluminense for midfielder Andre too as they anticipate a fresh move from Bayern Munich for Joao Palhinha.

Fulham are also admirers of Serhou Guirassy at Stuttgart, but will face competition for the 27-year-old forward

It comes as the Cottagers are looking to find a replacement for Aleksander Mitrovic, who left the club in the summer to join Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia

Crystal Palace, Fulham vying for Chuba Akpom
Crystal Palace and Fulham are reportedly keen on signing 28-year-old English striker Chuba Akpom from Ajax next year.

A report from TEAMtalk has claimed that Crystal Palace and Fulham have made an enquiry for Chuba Akpom. The two London clubs are in the market for a striker and have set their sights on the 28-year-old Ajax attacker.

Chuba Akpom has been quite impressive for Ajax this month, and he has scored five goals for them in November. He was playing for Middlesbrough in the Championship last season and was phenomenal for them as well. Akpom managed to score 29 goals across all competitions and he won the Championship Player of the Year award last term.

It will be interesting to see if he willing to return to the Premier League once again. The opportunity to showcase his qualities in the Premier League could be a tempting proposition for him. Ajax are a Champions League-level club, but they are going through a rough patch. It remains to be seen how the situation unfolds.

The report from TEAMtalk claims that the Dutch giants might be open to a loan transfer. Joining either Crystal Palace of Fulham on loan during the second half of the campaign could be a good move for the 28-year-old.

If Chuba Akpom manages to impress on loan, he might get to secure a permanent move at the end of the season. The former Arsenal striker will be attracted to the idea of competing in the Premier League on a regular basis. He is at the peak of his career and will want to test himself at the highest level.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace need more attacking depth, and the 28-year-old could improve them if he manages to hit the ground running. He could be an upgrade on players like Jean-Philippe Mateta. Recent reports have linked them with other strikers like Youssoufa Moukoko and Timo Werner.

At Fulham, he could be the ideal replacement for Aleksandar Mitrovic, who left the club this past summer. Like Fulham, the Cottagers have shown interest in many strikers, including Pedro and Werner. But Chuba Akpom is also a viable target for the West London club.

Both teams will be looking to improve during the second half of the season, and they need quality additions in January. Akpom would be a useful signing for them, especially if he can be signed on loan until the end of the season.

Fulham fancy Broja loan
Fulham have made Chelsea forward Armando Broja one of their top targets as they seek striking reinforcements in January, according to the Daily Mail.

The Whites have struggled to score goals since Aleskandar Mitrovic forced through his move to Saudi Arabia in August and Marco Silva has been promised additions when the transfer window reopens after signing a new contract at Craven Cottage. Fulham are keen on Stuttgart's Serhou Guirassy but believe he has a number of offers already on the table – so they are considering a loan move for Broja, who has recently returned to full fitness following a knee injury.

The Albanian international is unlikely to force his way into Mauricio Pochettino's starting eleven and Chelsea would be open to allowing the 6ft 2in centre forward to play regular first-team football elsewhere in the top flight. Broja scored the Blues' second goal in their derby win at Fulham in October and has impressed on loan at Vitesse Arnhem and Southampton in recent seasons. The Slough-born striker has also scored four goals in seventeen senior international appearances.
