It seems incredible with the amount of upcoming talented managers that Palace would go for Parker?

In the Championship alone there's Martin (probably will stay Soton), Maresca (will stay Leicester), McKenna (can be poached), Carrick (can be poached).

Vincent Kompany even with a relegation this year would be a decent shout for Palace.

I haven't read any reports suggesting that Parker is in the frame for the Palace job, most I've read name Cooper, who would be a much better fit.  After his last three appointments surely Parker is a busted flush now?  As had been said previously on multiple threads a good player doesn't necessarily make a good manager, Lampard and Gerrard immediately spring to mind to name but two.  Parker thinks he is much better than he actually is, until he reigns his ego in I don't think he will ever make the grade but now a lot of clubs will surely not want to take a chance on him.  I was so glad when he left us, although the manner in which he did rankles, and remain so.

Any truth to this and I think we need to bring in Parkers Agent in any capacity. The guy is a genius.

Current betting odds

1/1 Kieran Mckenna
4/1 Steve Cooper
4/1 Puffa Parker
13/2 Graham Potter

Graham Potter won't take it....think he's earning £20/minute from Chelsea while sitting on his bum

Well Parker has had a couple of payoffs to keep the wolf from the door!

I was talking to a Palace fan the other day who thought it was time for Roy to move on and when I floated the idea of Parker taking over thought that may be OK.
I suspect Parker's poor reputation is secure behind the Cottage gates and his CV may look pretty good.

I can't really imagine any premier league club appointing Parker when there are better options available but as said above, good from our point of view as it would create another relegation favourite.

I was just going to suggest we move in for Andersen & Lerma if Palace are relegated then Lerma slams in a beauty.

Chelsea players are a disgrace. They lose the ball and make zero effort to get it back. Chelsea are stuck with this bunch for 5-8 years  :slap:  :slap:

Ken Bates will be happy as we reclaim our rightful place at the top of the west London league. And someone suggested our season was over?
