The Palhinha dilemma

You play your best team to win, and Palhinha would always be in the best XI. Harsh on whoever gets dropped but it's competition for places right now and it makes players better. Likewise I would expect Willian probably comes back in for Wilson even though he was good yesterday because ultimately Willian is our best forward

Well done Marco Silva.
No way at the start of this season would we have even thought there was a conversation to be had about Palhinha not being in the starting XI.
Increased competition for the starting places in our midfield as the season progresses - excellent.
Same for the attack - who realistically thought Muniz would make a case for being a regular goal scorer and a consistent top quality centre forward.
Oh, and competition for our CB places, although Tosin and Bassey do look the genuine article currently.
