Should cancel this weekend games, everybody knows the outcome, just give all the youngsters a game, completely boring.

sarnian

Everybody has given the league title to City however it only takes one mistimed tackle and a sending off to change the complexion of any game.

Lighthouse

Or have free entry for every game and money given back to......oh hang on that isn't how things work. If we stopped doing things that were a total waste of time. The World would be a better place but the millionaires would have trouble knowing how else to screw the idiots.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

Eton White

Yeah, what's the point of the last weekend of the season?

Super Mick

City might have their titles removed anyway once the PL can be arsed to resolve the 115 charges against them!!

blingo

A possible extra £4.4 million makes it worth the effort.

It's to stop the previous week being the last week of the season!

Twig

Yeah we've totally screwed the entire last week by taking 4 points off Arsenal.

We have won only one match in our last eight. A 4-0 win at Luton would add a shade of respectability to our season's end while a Muniz hat trick could make him look like a viable striker for next season.

How are they bottling it? Especially before any punishment has been given? They might be very harsh when the eventual outcome comes?

Personally I believe the rhetoric given by the premier league so far,
Notts forest and everton were much easier cases, they provided accounts that showed they'd breached the loss marker. Pretty simple from the premier league prospective, just got to do the usual validation of the accounts then pass it over to the legal team to dish out punishment.

Man city on the other hand have given over financials without any breach, the problem with man city is the integrity of individual payments within the accounts, this is much more difficult to investigate and much more subjective, for an example, did that company pay millions of pounds to have a banner hung with their name on in a none public place for honest reasons?

Plus if you find a no, they did not, you then have to find out did they know what they were paying for? Was it intentional or unintentional, everything needs to be known and proved before the punishment can be decided, the severity of each payment much be scrutinised.

Looking how 'quick' they took with very straightforward cases this will take a long time.
