Not really sure what AP was thinking with that shot. Maybe he was passing to someone in row z. What is it he brings to the team??

St Eve

What a run by Bassey

Steeeeeeeeeed

Great run and shot from Bassey.

Apart from Palmers goal, and Palmer in general I think Fulham have done very well... Got to stop Palmer.

SimonDaviesEnjoyer

Well... It looks like we'll get the odd chance. The problem is that our finishing is so poor.

Milo

#24
I would push Bassey into DM to man mark Palmar and revert back to 4 at the back.

I think Robinson will be more effective running from deep anyway.

Traore pushes to the right wing.

Drewry66

Some of our passing is shocking. Been getting in decent positions but just got to be better on the ball.

The Cravenette

Sloppy passing giving the ball away and drawing out fouls and yellows. Got to make sure we keep 11 men on the pitch!

ron

I'm only following on here. It seems as if we're squandering our shooting chances as usual

SerbianLad

What's up with Iwobi as well. Two times now that he's given away the ball cheaply and launched Chelsea's counter

SimonDaviesEnjoyer

We occasionally look threatening but I'd put money on Chelsea to score next. The players they have up front are ridiculous.

He was doing that against Southampton too.

Drewry66

So frustrating. Think we've been the better side but as per usual final third delivery absolutely awful. Argggg  ::angry::

I dunno about better side, but it's been roughly even apart from the quality shown up top. Chelsea look like scoring almost every time they get it in our half.

Gonne be tough

We've played ok but for a brilliant goal from Palmer who is an exceptional talent they had one other good chance with cucerella.

Well need to be clinical when we do get chances but still very much in it. right now we are clearly lacking attacking firepower and that extra man up top to help in attacking moves, with no esr and reiss on the bench it's down to Wilson,Muniz Cairney and maybe King to make some magic if we can't get back in it soon. Issue is there's no space for traore  to get into nor overlap option for him. We seem to be overloading the left in attack in Robinson and good as he is as ever it's a bit predictable. Gotta mix it up with some moves down the right.

Tabby

Diop and Bassey have been very strong. Andersen and Iwobi can do much better.

Too many balls given away cheaply in the centre.

Yeh I gotta say I feel for Adama, I think he's got this media stigma where due to his obvious "speed merchant" thing any time he misses a pass or doesn't deliver the final ball and lazy commentators can't wait to trot out..."that's the thing with Adama" cos they're heard others say it. Even though has he been any worse than anyone else in attack today whilst having much less backup on his wing? He doesn't have Robinson to interchange with and needs support from Timothy out there.

SerbianLad

Leno-cold have done better for the goal

Castagne-okay

Diop-could have done better for their goal but he was incredible after that, made some superb tackles and interceptions

Andersen- he hasn't been at his best

Bassey - superb

Robinson - pretty good

Lukic - made that one poor pass at thr beginning of the match and could have done a bit better for the goal, stopped three dangerous attacks with crucial tackles though

Andreas - I think he was the main culprit for the goal. He went in to the challenge half-heartedly and then Lukic, Diop and Leno all could have done better, but for me he was in best position to make a tackle or foul Palmer. Didn't offer enough going forward either

Iwobi - poor passing. Two of his passes directly led to dangerous counters. Sloppy in the final third too. Needs to improve significantly.

Adama - he looked decent, but we need to get him in to the game more. He barely got the ball.

Raul - battled hard and had some good momentd. Should have squared his chance to Iwobi or Robinson though.

Milo

I think our obvious issue currently is the new formation. Robinson less effective, Anderson rusty after his injury and a spare part.

I would revert back to our usual formation with 4 at the back. I would lose Anderson and bring on Cairney.

Ps I'm worried about Lukic on a yellow, slippery pitch, etc etc.

Woolly Mammoth

Yes there is room for improvement but this is a tough task with the players Chelsea posses.
However we are doing ok overall and i am pleased with the commitment the players have shown, and it took a sublime goal to give Chelsea the lead.
It is only 1 0 so we are still in it.
The next goal is so important.
We need to score next, but we are making a fist of it.
Just need to get more players in the danger area at times.
Nevertheless our performance is encouraging at times and i am hopeful we can get a result as we are resilient and focused.
Its not the man in the fight, it's the fight in the man.  🐘

Overall not much in it but they look quicker to the ball, slicker passing and you know they have a goal or 3 in them.

We are at full stretch and lack the final pass, cross or shot to worry them too much.

I always hope but we need a bit of luck and more confidence.
