Pleasing that we had the resilience to grind out this win. But, if we want a top half finish, we have to win this type of game by larger margins. The jigsaw is beginning to fit together, but a few pieces still needed?

Not the most convincing of wins against a team that's expected to be in the bottom and a relegation battle.

That being said you have to win the games you've got and we did that.

Think we feel a bit hit and miss at the moment, our attacking play feels a bit disjointed for me.. we are scoring or looking threatening, but we don't make it look easy.

Traore has so much to offer, but still let's his pace dictate what he does too much, he needs to take a small bit off the pace and give him that extra few moments to think about where he's going and what pass he should make.

Great to see ESR on the scoresheet.

I thought bassey had a bit of an erratic game, he's got loads of great qualities but he let faes get the better of him for their goal and had a few lapses that looked costly but thankfully weren't.

Liked the subs Marco made, Cairney having an impact in our second goal, putting Reed on for Pereira towards the end to give us that extra security instead of swapping out Lukic was good to see.

Esr is still building up his fitness it seems.

Feel like we're kind of in a holding pattern and just need to keep things ticking over until andersen and berge get upto scratch and can come in to sure things up.. and then that front line signing is going to be key to giving us that dynamism up front, where it feels a bit clustered with slower paced dribblers in esr and iwobi or a pace merchant who could be better with productivity.

All the promoted clubs look good this season. A win is important. Especially as we have yet to settle into a new squad. I tend to look on the first two games. Unfortunate against a poor United side and a win against a good Leicester side.
