Arsenal reject £30m-plus bid from Fulham for Emile Smith Rowe, with Cottagers weighing up second offer

Fulham have seen their first bid for Emile Smith Rowe rejected by Arsenal
The Cottagers offered the Gunners around £30m plus bonuses for the player
Fulham are now weighing up a second offer, with Crystal Palace also interested

Fulham have seen an initial bid for Emile Smith Rowe rejected by Arsenal.

The Cottagers are understood to have offered around £30million plus bonuses for the 23-year-old.

After seeing their first offer knocked back by the Gunners, Fulham are now considering making an improved proposal.

Crystal Palace are also keen on the England international, although he is one of a number of midfield options being looked at by the Selhurst Park club.

Smith Rowe is under contract with Arsenal until June 2026.

Arsenal have rejected an offer from Fulham for attacking midfielder Emile Smith Rowe, 23

Fulham are weighing up a second offer for Smith Rowe, who trained with Arsenal on Monday

Fulham have not yet signed any new players during the current summer transfer window

However, he wants regular first-team football and will likely have to leave the Emirates Stadium to get it.

Smith Rowe was capped three times by England in 2021 and 2022, scoring one goal.

He has made a total of 115 first-team appearances for Arsenal since his debut in 2018, scoring times.

However, he started just three Premier League games last season.

Arsenal turn down Fulham's Smith Rowe bid
Fulham have seen a structured offer worth more than £30m for Arsenal's Emile Smith Rowe rejected, according to the Daily Mail.

The Whites are keen on signing the 23 year-old, who is weighing up his Gunners' future after making just thirteen Premier League appearances last term, but face competition from Crystal Palace. The Eagles have also had a bid rejected as Arsenal seek to strengthen their PSR position by maximising the return on one of their homegrown talents.

Smith Rowe sits at the top of Marco Silva's list of targets to replace the departing Willian and Bobby De Cordova-Reid but Fulham could decide to look elsewhere with Arsenal demanding around £40m for their left winger. He has scored eighteen goals in 115 games for the Gunners but has struggled for fitness and first-team football recently.

Arsenal reject offers from TWO London rivals for star willing to ditch Arteta for understandable reason
Arsenal have rejected offers from Fulham and Crystal Palace for Emile Smith Rowe who is willing to ditch Mikel Arteta for one specific reason, and improved bids could now be on the way, according to reports.

Smith Rowe once looked the future of Arsenal's attack, though injuries have not only seen his career stall, but also diminished his importance to manager Mikel Arteta.

Martin Odegaard is now the creator-in-chief, while Kai Havertz has also proven himself more than capable of playing in a box-to-box midfield role.

Smith Rowe can play on the wings if required, though competition out wide is fierce. Bukayo Saka is unmoveable on the right flank, while Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard are among the Premier League's deadliest wingers on their day on the left side.

As such, Smith Rowe was largely relegated to a bench role last term, with the vast bulk of his 19 appearances in all competitions coming as a substitute.

The end result has seen Arsenal soften their stance on the academy graduate and the Gunners are now willing to entertain a lucrative sale. The proceeds from the sales of homegrown stars represent pure profit on the balance sheet.

Furthermore, numerous reports including from Sky Sports and the Evening Standard all state Smith Rowe is open to leaving too.

The reports all concurred that the 23-year-old's primary motivation for wanting a fresh start is the lure of being a regular starter.

Smith Rowe has two years remaining on his contract, meaning Arsenal's chance to extract maximum value is right here and now.

Improved offers expected after Crystal Palace, Fulham bids rejected
According to multiple reports, Fulham have tabled an as yet unspecified bid for Smith Rowe. Cottagers boss Marco Silva is understood to be a huge admirer of the player.

However, Sky Sports state Fulham aren't alone in acting on their interest, with fellow London club Crystal Palace also making a bid.

How much the Eagles have put on the table wasn't revealed either, though what is clear is Arsenal have rejected both bids.

All eyes are now on whether Fulham and Palace return with improved second offers. Given the pair have money to spend, it would not be a surprise if new bids are made.

Palace have already sold Michael Olise to Bayern Munich for a fee just north of £50m. Fulham have also lost one of their best players to Bayern following Joao Palhinha's £47.4m switch to Bavaria.

Arsenal's ideal scenario would be both Fulham and Crystal Palace remaining in the race and the pair ignite a bidding war that drives up the price.

Arsenal clear-out gathering pace
Other stars Arsenal are willing to listen to offers for include Kieran Tierney, Jakub Kiwior and Eddie Nketiah, to name just three.

Nuno Tavares has joined Lazio on a season-long loan that contains an obligation to buy worth roughly £7m. Arsenal have inserted a sell-on clause that will activate once the obligation to buy has been triggered.

Elsewhere, Albert Sambi Lokonga completed his move to Sevilla on Monday, though his loan switch contains a €12m option to buy, not an obligation.

July Club meeting & Trust board meeting

July Club meeting moved
As you know, our monthly meeting with the Club was scheduled to take place on Wednesday 10th July. However, in the leadup to the meeting it became clear that some key members of Club staff would no longer be available at that time and we jointly agreed to reschedule so that we could all get maximum benefit from the meeting.

The July meeting will now take place on Wednesday 31st July and we will take forward any questions previously raised, plus any additional topics which may arise over the next few weeks. We will also deal with any time-critical questions outside of the meeting and reply directly to the supporters concerned.

The vast majority of questions being asked by supporters currently relate to digital ticketing, particularly in the light of the announcement that Ticketmaster Sport is taking over from SecuTix as the Club's ticketing provider. Given this, we asked for and were given a separate meeting to try to understand next steps in the Club's move towards digital ticketing. This took place on Thursday 11th July when Simon Duke and Ian Clarke met with Katy Brecht (Head of Ticketing) and Jack Burrows (Marketing Director).

For the Club, Katy and Jack explained that a huge amount of work is underway to migrate from SecuTix to Ticketmaster and that the Club will be providing a lot of detail in the coming weeks. They reiterated their desire not to drip-feed information at this stage by answering specific questions, preferring to provide comprehensive explanations and FAQ when they are ready. Simon and Ian emphasised that, with only five weeks until the start of the season, supporters had lots of questions and worries about how digital ticketing will operate, particularly for season ticket holders, and that the announcement of the new partner had only increased those questions.

The most common concerns relate to how the system will work, technical requirements, provisions for sharing season tickets and options for those who are unable to use the system for various reasons. Katy and Jack confirmed that all of these topics will be covered in their extensive communications. We agreed that the Trust will forward a detailed list of questions to be considered for inclusion in the Club's communications, including the complex scenarios that some of you have asked us about, and that we will reconvene to work through the draft FAQ when they are available.

It is clear that there is a lot of work going on behind the scenes, but given tight timescales and the major change involved, we are keen for supporters to be given as much time as possible to understand how the new system will work for them and receive any support they may need.

We will keep you up to date as we hear more.

July board meeting summary
The Fulham Supporters' Trust board met on Tuesday 2nd July to discuss the latest issues raised by members and coordinate its ongoing efforts to represent the Fulham community.

The board discussed the first meeting of the Fan Advisory Board convened by the Club, which includes a Trust representative. We look forward to engaging with the new process while continuing our structured dialogue with the Club through the separate, well-established format.

The FST remains the largest independent group of Fulham fans, and we look forward to representing them and their interests in all formats of engagement with the Club.

The board briefly discussed its concerns about the planned roll-out of digital ticketing at Craven Cottage, noting many questions from members. An in-depth discussion of these issues is expected in a separate Club meeting.

The board also noted healthy renewal rates of Trust membership as we continue to evaluate how to offer the most value to our members, including such groups as younger fans.

Finally, the board also agreed on a new internal social media policy to increase its presence and engagement on social platforms and briefly discussed preparations for the next Annual General Meeting, expected to take place on Thursday 14th November.

We will continue to encourage fans to engage with the Trust so we can take their comments, ideas and suggestions directly to the Club. Our regular newsletter is set to resume when the season starts in August.

Fabrizio Romano shares what Fulham are planning to do after Arsenal rejected their Emile Smith Rowe bid
Fulham have failed with an attempt to sign Arsenal star Emile Smith Rowe.

The Gunners are expected to sell quite a few of their players. Reports have claimed that 10 Arsenal players have been put on the chopping block in this window.

Smith Rowe has struggled with injuries, and as a result, game time over the last two seasons, and that has put his future up in the air.

Reports have claimed that Smith Rowe will leave Arsenal this summer, and Fulham are the first side to have made a move to sign him.

What Fulham are now considering after Arsenal turn down Emile Smith Rowe offer
Fulham have been linked with a move for Smith Rowe for a few weeks now.

The Cottagers are keen to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2024/25 season, and they have big money to spend having sold Joao Palhinha to Bayern Munich for an initial £42.3 million (BBC).

Fulham are on the market for a new midfielder, and Arsenal star Smith Rowe is very high on their list of targets in this window.

Reports have revealed that Arsenal rejected an offer from Fulham for Smith Rowe, who is also attracting interest from clubs like Crystal Palace (Daily Mail).

Fabrizio Romano has now had his say on the situation.

The journalist has confirmed that Arsenal have indeed rejected an offer from Fulham, but Silva's side are not going anywhere.

The Cottagers are now considering a second bid for Smith Rowe and are prepared to use some of the money that they received for Palhinha in their offer for Arsenal.

Romano tweeted: "Fulham had initial bid rejected for Emile Smith Rowe, now considering to return with new proposal to Arsenal.

"He's considered one of the main targets with Fulham prepared to invest part of the budget they got from the Palhinha deal... but it depends on Arsenal."

What Arsenal have decided to do with Smith Rowe
Smith Rowe is a fan favourite at Arsenal.

The Englishman's talent is unquestionable. He is excellent on the ball, hugely versatile and as he has shown at Arsenal previously, he can score goals and provide assists.

Smith Rowe is unlikely to become a starter at Arsenal as other players in his position have nailed down a place in Mikel Arteta's side.

That's why Arsenal are prepared to grant him whatever he wishes with regards to his future.

The Athletic have revealed that Arsenal are happy to listen to what the midfielder wants. If they do agree to sell him, 'it will be in part to help facilitate Smith Rowe's desire for first-team football'.

Pro Deals For Academy Trio

The Club is delighted to announce that Jayden Quashie, Bradley Slade and Sam Tabares have all signed their first professional contracts.

Jayden Quashie
A youngster who has progressed through the age groups, Jayden joined Fulham at the Under-10s stage.

The midfielder was a regular for Ali Melloul's Under-18s side last term, while he made his first Under-21s start in a Premier League Cup tie against Leicester City. Jayden's performances last season earned him his first cap for Grenada Under-20s back in February.

On signing his first pro deal, Jayden said: "I've worked hard to get this opportunity. It's a big accomplishment for me and my family.

"I want to thank my friends and family for always supporting me, guiding me and allowing me to develop on the pitch."

Bradley Slade
A left-sided defender, Bradley has been with us since the Foundation Phase and is another player who has progressed through the age groups.

That development continued last season as he played 15 times in the Under-18s Premier League. Bradley also got plenty of exposure to Under-21s football too, making four appearances in Premier League 2, with his first start for Hayden Mullins' side coming in a 2-2 draw against Chelsea last November.

"It's a great feeling to sign my first pro contract," said Bradley. "I've spent over half of my life here but I feel like this is just the start for me.

"I'm going to put my head down and keep working hard from here."

Sam Tabares
Last season was Sam's first full campaign at Fulham, after signing his scholarship last year following a successful trial period at Motspur Park.

The young defender received plenty of minutes in his debut camapaign, featuring in 17 Under-18s Premier League games, as well as earning his Under-21s debut in January in a 3-1 win over Benfica in the Premier League International Cup.

"A lot of hard work has gone into this and I'm so pleased to have put pen to paper on this contract," said Sam.

"The coaches have really pushed me during my time here and I'm now looking to establish myself in the Under-21s this season."

Sean Cullen, Academy Director, added: "We are proud of all three lads as they move into the next part of their development journey. Jayden, Bradley and Sam consistently demonstrate our Academy values on and off the pitch which is always important to recognise.

"Jayden established himself in the Under-18s last season and made his debut for the Under-21s. Jayden is an industrious box-to-box midfielder, who works hard in all aspects of the position. He likes to be creative when in possession but is also tireless in trying to regain possession for the team when we are without the ball. We were all very proud of Jayden representing Grenada Under-20s and this capped a strong first season in the Professional Development Phase.

"Bradley has been with us since pre-academy and has continually raised his game at each step of the pathway. Despite an early injury setback, Bradley enjoyed an excellent first year in the PDP. He is a hardworking left-back, who is very difficult to beat one-v-one. The defensive side of his game is complemented by his willingness to get forward and support the attacking needs of the team.

"Sam is an athletic defender who enjoys the art of defending. He had a slightly unconventional route into our PDP programme, joining us as an Under-17 from the Bradfield College Football Programme. Despite the late entry into our environment, he has quickly adapted and become a key member of our Under-18s team."

Fulham join Turkish giants in race to sign Manchester United midfielder
Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay is attracting a lot of interest this summer.

Turkish giants Galatasaray have expressed interest in the Scotland international but it is doubtful they could meet United's valuation of the player.

Galatasaray vice-chairman Ibrahim Hatipoglu has said discussions are ongoing about a move for McTominay, even though they are also considering a move for Tottenham midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg. He also dismissed suggestions that the Turkish outfit could move for United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

"McTominay's transfer fee is being discussed," Hatipoglu said, as quoted by Haber Sari Kirmizi.

"Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is a good player, he has many suits, he wants to see all options.

"There is no talk of single-digit figures for right-back and midfield transfers. But we have allocated a budget of less than €10million for right-back.

"There is no negative situation regarding Guela Doue [Rennes right-back]. Negotiations are ongoing [for] McTominay and Doue. Wan-Bissaka is not our priority."

Fulham in the race for Scott McTominay
According to Sky Sports reporters Lyall Thomas and Dharmesh Sheth, Fulham remain interested in McTominay.

The report adds that the United midfielder was their top target to replace Joao Palinha last year.

However, like Galatasaray, Fulham are also interested in Hojbjerg as well as Fluminense's Andre.

United will have a decision to make if an appropriate offer comes in because McTominay has just one year left on his contract, but there is the option of a further year.

Most fans would be happy to see McTominay stay ahead of next season.

Former Hull City and Derby County winger previously eyed by Leeds United attracts Ajax 'interest'
Ajax are reportedly interested in signing former Hull City winger Harry Wilson from Fulham.

Wilson had a productive loan spell at Hull in 2018, scoring seven goals in 14 appearances. He had joined the Tigers from Liverpool, who later loaned him to Derby County, AFC Bournemouth, Cardiff City and Fulham.

He was signed by Fulham permanently in 2022 and has since taken his Cottagers appearance tally over the 100 mark.

However, according to Sky Sports, Ajax are interested in giving Wilson his first overseas opportunity. He has two years remaining on his Fulham contract, therefore would cost the Dutch giants a fee.

Ajax have taken interest in English football in recent years, signing the likes of Chuba Akpom from Middlesbrough and Steven Bergwijn from Tottenham Hotspur.

They also have former Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson in their ranks, having signed the midfielder from Saudi Arabian side Al-Ettifaq.

Wilson was thought to be on Leeds United's radar in 2020, after the Whites had secured promotion to the Premier League. He had previously been linked with the club in 2018 but a move to Elland Road did not materialise.

Exclusive: 'It was very hard for me' – Denis Odoi lifts lid on Fulham exit

Fulham legend Denis Odoi lifted the lid on his Fulham exit.

The versatile Belgian-born Ghanaian international spent five-and-a-half years in west London before sealing a move to Club Bruges in January 2022 as the club was closing in on yet another top-flight return.

A top performer in the Championship, Odoi regularly found the going extremely tough a division higher.

And despite helping the club to back-to-back promotions in 2018 and 2020 respectively, Odoi admitted that yet another stint in the Premier League wilderness would have been a disappointment too far.

He told the South London Press: "I was playing [at the time] and the offer came very last-minute.

"I had to make the decision and Bruges gave me one extra year.

"Obviously with the next year going to the Premier League, the previous two years there were very hard.

"So then I preferred to leave, but it was very hard for me because, as I said, for me, it was the best moment of my life living in London and playing for Fulham."

Asked if the winning goal against Derby County in the play-off semi-final six years ago was the professional summit of his life in the capital he said: "For me personally, yes.

"But Wembley finals and those things were always great. But Derby County was for me the height of my career at Fulham.

"Just overall it was a very nice period for me, it was the best period of my life until now."

Odoi, 36, also lavished praise on Marco Silva for helping Fulham get rid of their notorious yo-yo tag that tormented them during his London days.

He said: "I am very happy because there are still a lot of people that I know. I worked with the coach as well and there are still a lot of players (left) like Tim Ream, Harrison, Kenny and I am very happy for them that for the second year straight they stayed in the Premier League. Fulham are doing very well."

Leaving the club was tough mentally but it inevitably paid dividends for the veteran full-back as Club Bruges lifted two Belgian titles in 30 months, along with a domestic Super Cup.

Odoi, who joined Royal Antwerp this summer, said: "I am very happy especially with the ending of last season.

"For me it wasn't easy but you know if you go to Bruges it's to play for titles and for prizes.

"That's another reason why I made a move from Fulham because I was very happy there. I went to Bruges because I knew it was a big club playing for prizes.

"When you go to Bruges it's to win titles and I won two leagues in three years, very happy with that."

So can his ex-club keep growing and eventually push for European places, 14 years after reaching the UEFA Cup final?

Odoi added: "One day they can, Fulham have done it in the past. I wish them all the best."

Fulham inch closer to signing Andre Trindade
Fulham might be a step closer to landing Andre Trindade, with Fluminense "in the process of selling" the 23-year-old Brazilian international to the West London club.

According to a report by Meia Hora, as relayed by Sport Witness, Andre Trindade is the subject of interest from Fulham. The Cottagers have been keen on signing a holding midfielder heading into the summer transfer window. The latest update has suggested that Brazilian giants Fluminense are "in the process of selling" the 23-year-old to the West London club.

The Andre Trindade tale
Andre Trindade has been one of the best midfielders in his homeland since breaking into the first-team squad at Fluminense a few years ago. A native of Ibirataia, he spent his formative years in his homeland before making his first-team bow for Tricolor Flu Fluzão.

The 23-year-old has turned out nearly 200 times thus far for Fluminense while chipping in with four goals and four assists. In addition, Andre's exploits for the club have helped him break into his national side, although he was not a part of Brazil's squad for the 2024 Copa America.

Meanwhile, Andre's progress at Fluminense has not gone unnoticed, capturing the attention of several well-known clubs across Europe. A move to the Premier League might be on the cards in the summer transfer window, with Fulham among his prospective suitors.

Fulham's interest in Andre Trindade is understandable. The Cottagers are scouring the market in the summer transfer window after losing Joao Palhinha, who has joined Bayern Munich this month. So, several candidates have emerged on Fulham's radar, with the Fluminense midfielder a viable target.

London calling?
Recent reports have claimed that the Cottagers have been closing in on securing Andre's services, with talks with Fluminense advancing. The latest update has suggested that the Brazilian giants are "in the process of selling" the 23-year-old Brazilian international to the West London outfit.

So, a summer move to Craven Cottage is on the cards for the Fluminense midfielder as he gets ready to embark on an adventure in the Premier League. So, it will be interesting to see if Fulham can seal the deal in the coming days as they begin their preparations for their pre-season campaign.

Fulham are now keen on signing Manchester United player Tom Cairney called 'ridiculous'
Fulham desperately need bodies through the door this summer.

After losing Willian, Joao Palhinha and Bobby Decordova-Reid already this summer, Fulham's squad is incredibly light at the moment.

The Whites have so much work to do in this window, and perhaps the most important area for improvement is in the heart of the midfield.

Palhinha has left the club, while Sasa Lukic remains inconsistent and Tom Cairney isn't getting any younger.

Luckily, the transfer window still has a long way to run, and according to Sky Sports, Fulham have a few midfield options in mind.

Fulham want Scott McTominay
According to Sky Sports, Fulham hold an interest in Manchester United's Scott McTominay.

It's claimed that McTominay was the west London club's first-choice to replace Joao Palhinha if he left the club last summer.

Of course, Palhinha stayed last year, but now that his move to Bayern Munich has gone through, Fulham are back in for McTominay.

Scott McTominay deal won't be easy
Fulham are said to be keen on McTominay, but getting the Scotland international out of Old Trafford won't be easy.

As an academy product, McTominay won't be in any rush to leave the club he has called home for a long time, while United won't be keen to let him go either.

McTominay popped up with so many important goals last season, and with United lacking depth in the midfield after the departure of Sofyan Amrabat and the continued decline of Casemiro, McTominay is still an important player.

Interestingly, Fulham captain, Tom Cairney, has previously been full of praise for McTominay, describing his goalscoring antics for Scotland as 'ridiculous' last season.

Sky also note that Fulham are interested in Tottenham's Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Fluminense's Andre Trindade, but perhaps the most exciting rumour about Marco Silva's side at the moment is this potential move for the Manchester United man.

Another club expected to launch official transfer approach for Arsenal midfielder
Crystal Palace are reportedly expected to launch an official transfer bid for Arsenal attacking midfielder Emile Smith Rowe amid interest from Fulham.

The 23-year-old has struggled for playing time in Mikel Arteta's side for the last couple of years, despite having previously shown plenty of potential since rising up from the club's academy into the first-team.

According to the Evening Standard, Arsenal are now braced for more bids for Smith Rowe after rejecting an initial approach from Fulham, with Palace also showing an interest in the England international as he's expected to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer.

It's surely a good time for Arsenal to cash in on Smith Rowe as his value could soon drop, meaning they'd miss out on this opportunity to make pure profit on the sale of a homegrown player.

Smith Rowe transfer: Can he still have a good Premier League career?
Of course, some Arsenal fans are likely to be nervous about the potential sale of a talent like Smith Rowe, who might still have it in him to shine in the Premier League and have a good career at this level.

For now, it seems unlikely that that will happen for him at Arsenal given the competition for places in Arteta's midfield, but he certainly seems more than good enough to have a really positive impact at somewhere like Fulham or Palace.

Oliver Glasner has done impressive work at Selhurst Park since taking charge last season, and one imagines a player like Smith Rowe would relish the chance to work with him and improve in the way that others like Eberechi Eze and Adam Wharton have.

It won't be easy for AFC supporters to see this popular local lad shining for a rival club, but at the same time it seems the best for all parties involved to go their separate ways now.

Southgate among seven Fulham Women departures
Captain Mary Southgate is one of seven first-team players to leave Fulham Women this summer, the club confirmed this afternoon.

The lifelong Fulham fan, who made 154 appearances in eight years as the women's side was re-established as an official entity, was left out of Steve Jaye's starting line-up for much of last season. Southgate, who led the Whites out during their first game at Craven Cottage in twenty years against AFC Wimbledon two years ago, tweeted her own emotional departing message last week:

https://x.com/MarySouthgatePE/status/1808412694745129269

Scottish midfielder Chloe Christisson-McNee – the club's current vice-captain – is also leaving after three years at Craven Cottage. The former AFC Wimbledon midfielder, a combative and classy presence in the engine room, racked up over a half century of appearances and battled back from a serious knee injury to add some ballast to the Fulham midfield. Christisson-McNee, who featured on our Green Pole podcast two years, also tweeted a thank you to the fans earlier this month:

https://x.com/CCMcNee/status/1809636779307221298

Experienced defender Tessa Allen has also said goodbye to Motspur Park after making 90 appearances in four years for Fulham. Allen, who filled in at centre back and full back over the last two seasons, was a part of the first-team squad's leadership group during the second half of her Fulham career.

Defender Emily Bird, who came through the club's recently re-established development set-up to become a regular in the first-team, has joined Leatherhead.

Penalty-saving star goalkeeper Ellie Parker, who made nineteen appearances last term including saving spot-kicks in shoot-out wins over Actonians and Arsenal Academy, has opted to take a break from the game.

Midfielder Ava Huntrods is headed for America on a scholarship deal having made nine appearances for the Whites over the past two seasons.

Young striker Ede Buchele heads to university having scored a superb 24 goals in 51 games for the first-team in two seasons since stepping up from Fulham's youth sides.

Trevoh Chalobah rejects Fulham, Crystal Palace approach
Chelsea outcast Trevoh Chalobah has turned down the opportunity to join Fulham and Crystal Palace ahead of next season.

According to a report from TEAMtalk, Fulham and Crystal Palace have both failed with their attempts to sign Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah this summer. While the Blues are ready to part ways with their academy graduate, he is not willing to join either Premier League club and is waiting for the perfect opportunity.

Chalobah has had an impressive rise at the West London club. He got promoted to their first team in the summer of 2021. While he had a great start to his first-team career and showcased signs of great potential, injuries have hampered his progress, and the 25-year-old is no longer a part of their plans moving ahead.

Chelsea ready to sell Chalobah
The Blues already have a lot of quality at the back, and they are also looking to further reinforce that area of the pitch. With Chalobah not in Enzo Maresca's plans going forward, Chelsea are ready to cash in on him. They are expected to offload quite a few of their players, and the Englishman is quite high on that list as he is a homegrown player and will result in pure profit on their books.

Fulham and Crystal Palace are both looking to reinforce their backline. Tosin Adarabioyo's departure means the Cottagers need a new centre-back on a priority basis. With Marc Guehi's future uncertain, the Eagles are also looking to bring in a new defender.

Both clubs are interested in Chalobah, who is no longer a part of the Blues' plans. They did approach him for a potential transfer. But the 25-year-old has turned down the opportunity to join either of the Premier League clubs.

Chalobah is no rush, Chelsea want a quick sale
The 25-year-old utility man is waiting for the perfect opportunity and does not want to rush into any decision. The Chelsea graduate is willing to wait another season if needed to secure the right move. While he is open to a loan move for regular first-team action, Chalobah is in no hurry to leave the Blues with his contract running until 2028.

The Englishman's stance has frustrated the decision-makers at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea want to cash in on him as soon as possible because his sale represents pure profit. Chalobah's departure will help balance their books and further strengthen their squad ahead of next season.

Ajax want Wilson
Ajax are looking to sign Fulham winger Harry Wilson this summer, according to Sky Sports News.

The Welsh international, who was used mostly as a substitute by Marco Silva last season, has scored 19 goals in 119 appearances. The 27 year-old has scored eight goals in 55 games for his country and has less than two years remaining on his current Craven Cottage contract.

Fulham are not open to selling the former Liverpool winger – even if reports in the Dutch press suggested that Ajax head coach Francescoli Farioli has identified Wilson as a second summer signing following the arrival of Bertrand Traore. The Dutch giants

Hibs reaction: One player gets huge praise, Youan update, dugout switch reasons, Bowie transfer situation
Molotnikov stood out as Hibs made light work of Queen's Park at Easter Road

Hibs head coach David Gray lavished praise on teenager Rudi Molotnikov after he scored his first senior goal in the 5-1 Premier Sports Cup win over Queen's Park.

The 18-year-old, who is naturally a No 10, was deployed wide left as he was against Elgin City last weekend and gave new Spiders right-back Cammy Kerr a difficult evening. He showed admirable composure to net the third goal in a one-sided match at Easter Road which leaves Hibs in pole position to qualify for the last 16 of the competition.

"He was excellent," Gray said of Molotnikov's performance. "That's the second time he has been a real bright spark. He showed quality he's got, pace and power. He was in and around the first team last season but he has really taken his chance this year. He needs to keep working hard but he is doing really well at the moment.

"He has got the physicality to hold people off and he can affect training now and he is now affecting games, which is great and he is enjoying himself, he is playing with a smile on his face. He has got a good team about him helping him every single day. He's just enjoying being on the pitch and taking his opportunity."

Martin Boyle netted twice, and Warren O'Hora and Dylan Levitt also got on the scoresheet, with the only blot on Hibs' copybook a stoppage-time consolation by Jack Turner. "The boys were excellent again," said Gray. "The intensity, scoring five goals is great. We had other chances too, we were defensively really strong, a slight negative was to concede the goal at the end."

There was also some concern about substitute Elie Youan, who limped off in stoppage-time after colliding with Queen's Park keeper Calum Ferrie. "It's one of them in the last stage of the match, as a coach, you don't need to go for it," added Gray. "But at the same time he was brave to go and do that and fingers crossed it's a bit of a dead leg from the collision and hopefully he should be alright.

Gray also explained why he has moved the dugout to the left side of the main stand. "It's just something that I've noticed since I've been at the club," he said. "Everything we do is on the left side of the building. We warm up there and the subs go down that side. It's something I wanted to change, to see what it was like - if we'd got beaten tonight, we might have gone back the other way!"

Meanwhile, Fulham striker Kieron Bowie could emerge as a transfer target for Hibs in the coming days. The Easter Road club have been alerted to the Scotland Under-21 forward's availability, as well as other teams in the Premiership. The 21-year-old former Raith youngster has spent the past two years on loan at Northampton Town.

Ok, just a question.  What are differences between Trindade and McTominay?  Would FFC want one or the other?  Or both?  And how does ESR fit into this picture, or not?  I'm just a bit confused and looking for some help.

if you add smith Rowe to those two it's quite probable all three don't end up at Fulham .Trindale is the one most likely to be at Fulham.
