I am a Fulham fan exiled in China where I currently work and live.
I am writing a book about George Best which will commemorate the 50th anniversary of his debut for the Whites back on September 4th, 1976.
I would like to speak to any Fulham fans who remember watching this long passed footballing superstar playing for us as I am keen to get their memories and recollections to use in the book. Best made his debut against Bristol Rovers when we were still in the old Division 2. It must have been a surreal sight to see not only George Best but also the late, great Bobby Moore and Rodney Marsh also in the same team! If anyone would like to share their memories of watching Best play for Fulham (even better if you were at the Cottage on that September afternoon back in '76 in a crowd of more than 21,000!) then please can you let me know on FOF.  To cap it all, Best scored the only goal of the game on his debut inside 2 minutes. No one could have written the script!
