Quote from: SerbianLad on March 20, 2025, 09:42:55 PMI see Denmark won 1-0 against Portugal, so he probably had a great game. Can someone confirm this, if anyone watched it.
Sounds as if he did well:

Danish outlet B.T. rated the players after the memorable win, and they gave Andersen five out of six stars, writing: "When Joachim Andersen empties his pockets at Hotel Marienlyst tonight, there's a good chance a Portuguese football icon will fall to the floor. The Dane kept Cristiano Ronaldo in a tight bind – and was supreme in most of what he did."

A rating system out of six, that is just weird.
83% if you prefer 🤷

The world is made up of electrons, protons, neurons, possibly muons and, definitely, morons.

The England keeper hasn't had a shot to save yet!

TB1973

No mention as usual that Dan Burn, who is a legend, played for Fulham

Watched most of the Nigeria match. Iwobi played in a double pivot with Ndidi and Bassey occupied his regular LCB spot in a back 4. Both put in solid 6.5 or 7 out of 10 appearances. Didn't doing anything wrong but also didn't really do anything remarkable. Didn't seem like they overexerted themselves which was good to see.

So many people were back when he first signed, but fair play to you for holding your hands up.  ::thumb::

Did they mention he played for Brighton and Wigan as well?

5-0 away win for Norway.
Sander played the whole 90+ minutes.

SerbianLad

Berge played really well, although Moldova looked quite poor too. He stayed fit too which is even more important for Fulham.

Only thing I don't like about this is because his first international match is on Saturday, his next one is on Tuesday which means he returns to CC on Wednesday and will only have three days to prepare for CP.

Sasa Lukic: 5 pm UK time, Serbia vs Austria, Nations League Division A/B promotion/relegation play-offs 2nd leg (1-1 first leg)

Timothy Castagne: 7.45  pm UK time, Belgium vs Ukraine, Nations League Division A/B promotion/relegation play-offs 2nd leg (3-1 Ukraine in the first leg).

Joachim Andersen: 7.45 pm UK time, Portugal vs Denmark, Nations League quarter finals 2nd leg (1-0 Denmark in the first leg)

Also, although technically tomorrow:
Raul Jimenez - 1.30 am UK time, tomorrow, Mexico vs Panama, CONCACAF Nations League final.

Although, considering how poor the first leg was, I'd probably steer clear of the Serbia vs Austria game, it's probably going to be a tough watch. We are going to park the bus most likely. There are reports from pretty good sources that Lukic will play as a left winger for example.

SerbianLad

Lukic starts on the wing in a 3-4-3 formation.

SerbianLad

Lukic subbed off with 10ish minutes to go again. Pretty poor first half, but as expected, as he was playing as a winger. Good second half. Had a semi-decent effort on goal from a very long distance. Took one superb corner as well. Apart from that, he made some good tackles amd interceptions.

Both Castagne and Andersen start in their respective matches. Castagne starts on the left.

Fulham 442

Andersen has just scored an OG, so now one all with Portugal over the two legs so far...

Decent first half from him otherwise. Portugal all over them, although Denmark looked decent in a few counter attacks.

Portugal Denmark 3-3 on aggregate with just a few mins left

All the current games tonight are all in the balance atm barring extra time and penalties except Germany Vs Italy...

demeant0r

Portugal is now 4-3 on aggregate. Andersen is still on the pitch. I really hope this does not affect his performance on Saturday.
