To be fair, the guy was taking an age to get off the pitch 😂

blingo

I'd have him back in a flash.

Out of contract next summer isn't he? 3 years younger than Raul. One more year of Raul and then Mitro on a free next year to fight it out with Muniz would be crazy. Funnier things have happened and personally I'd love it.

_Putney_

That sort of emotion is what leads to his goal records no doubt. Perhaps childish, perhaps unprofessional, but really, I wouldn't care one bit. How boring if all were like Jordan Henderson or James Milner.  :slap:

Not for me, players returning never seems to pan out well. Bye Mitro, but thanks for the memories...

You mean like Sess and Andersen!

Well Andersen is on record as stating he hoped that Palace would match our contract offer as he was happy to stay there. Sess was released by Spurs and I have to say I'm very happy to see him home...

I wouldn't - We're a far better team without him.

Willian too?

Infact your point about returning players not working is completely void when considering our current crop

Ruislip White

He's been playing at such a low level against poorer opposition, and it showed at the last Euros (as with Ronaldo).
I don't think he'll be anywhere near premier league level.

no thanks to those 2,also with micro coming up to 30 y.o plus ideal to replace Raul.

HarryBayles

Why isn't he playing for Serbia, injured ?

Had an injury and then that heart problem. He'd have been called up otherwise and been the captain.

Lighthouse

However good he was. As a team we were very one dimensional. Personally the way he left for the money means he would run to any despotic regimes for the dosh. So he could never be trusted.I think people should grow up and Mitro never will. Good luck to him but we are simply a much better unit without him.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

Prior to his injury and heart condition was there any sense in the Serbian national media that Mitro's sharpness at international level has dropped off since his move to Saudi?

From the evidence I saw I agree with Ruislip above that Mitro's form dropped off starkly in last year's Euros. I haven't stat checked that, however. Purely relying on the good old traditional eye test

True, but going back a little bit, Dempsey mark II was a shocker

Yes indeed, sadly he was, beyond disappointing..
