AFC Bournemouth vs Fulham final injury update as 6 ruled out and 1 doubt
All the final injury news surrounding Fulham and Bournemouth as they prepare to face off in the Premier League.

Fulham return to action on Sunday when they face Bournemouth in what should be a very evenly contested game between two teams who are separated by just three points as things stand. The Cottagers could be on course for a European spot, currently in eighth place, which could yet be a Conference League place if England gets an extra Champions League place this season.

But with the standings so close, Marco Silva's men are going to need to remain consistent to get the job done. Silva said ahead of this one: "It's not a question of dreaming. We are not here to dream, we are here to look for the reality. If you have a chance to fight for something, you are going to fight.

"Dreaming can be for our fans because of the love they have for the football club. We are in a position that allows us to fight, we have a reason to fight, and we are going to do it. We are in a position to fight, whether you achieve it or not is another thing, but we are able to fight for something that is important to the club to achieve. We are not going to hide; we are going to fight."

Ahead of another big game for the Cottagers, we have rounded up the final injury news surrounding both teams after the pre-match press conferences.

Enes Unal - Out
Unal is going to be out until the autumn after rupturing his ACL. A statement confirmed at the time: "He will undergo surgery to repair the ligament in the coming days, and the club's medical and performance staff will support him in every way possible throughout."

Luis Sinisterra - Doubt
Iraola said ahead of this one: "Probably from the three, Sini is the one who has less chance to arrive. We have to be careful with him but we will try. We still have three days but that's our situation right now."

Marcus Tavernier - Out
The same update as above applies.

Justin Kuivert - Out
Iraola was also speaking about Kluivert in the above update.

Ryan Christie - Out
Speaking ahead of this one, Iraola confirmed that Christie is out for the season. He said: "Ryan Christie is out for the season. He needed surgery and I think he has been pushing through pain all season. Now was the moment where his body told him 'it's enough, you cannot keep playing'. Now our aim is to recover well with him and have him ready to start pre-season well with the others. He is definitely not going to be able to play this season."

Reiss Nelson - Out
Nelson is out for the season after hamstring surgery. Silva has said: "He got surgery and could be out until the end of the season. I don't want to give a timescale that is 100 per cent sure, but it could be out until the end of the season. It's a big blow for us, definitely. He was really unlucky."

Harry Wilson - Out
Silva said of Wilson's surgery initially: "He got the surgery last Monday. Everything went well; now we have to step by step keep recovering him. It's going to take a long time, probably the beginning of April." Wilson returned to training this week, but this one will come too early for him.

Before The Whistle: Bournemouth v Fulham

Strip everything aside, and this is one of the most important games of the season.

Bournemouth sit just three points behind us in 10th. Win, and we double that gap. And given that Aston Villa travel to Southampton, we need to win to keep pace.

Bournemouth are having a tricky time of late, picking up just two points from the last 18 available. But they have a habit of getting up for a game against us, and we've not done too well against them in recent years – and we have just one win at the Vitality in 30 years.

It's unfathomable that Marco Silva will change the XI that upset Liverpool last weekend. That means our starboy, Ryan Sessegnon, is likely to keep his place. I've a feeling he'll play a leading role if we are to achieve our European dreams this term.

Kenny Tete made a welcome return in the latter stages of the game on the weekend. But Castagne put in a decent enough shift to keep that berth. It'd be great to see Kenny get more minutes on the south coast, though.

Our recent win-loss form perhaps doesn't bode well for this – we'll want to buck the trend if we're to keep up in this increasingly tight race for Europe. You Whites.

Erratic Bournemouth and Fulham set for stalemate as European hopes stutter
Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola and his Fulham counterpart Marco Silva are often hailed as two of the brightest managers in the Premier League, especially when their teams produce stunning results against the big guns.

Both clubs are pressing for a place Europe with the Cherries tenth in the table and the Cottagers two places above them ahead of their Monday night match on the south coast and both appear to be fixtures in the top-flight for many years to come.

But both are riddled with inconsistencies which are extremely baffling and difficult to comprehend.

Bournemouth were feted as being on the rise and on course for a top-six finish at the turn of the year with a 2-2 draw at Chelsea followed by a 4-1 triumph at Newcastle and a 5-0 success at home to Nottingham Forest.

But they have picked up just two points from their last six matches and all of a sudden the Emperor isn't wearing any clothes at all, let alone a football kit.

Meanwhile, Fulham have fared marginally better with three wins in their last eight matches in all competitions and were absolutely abysmal when rolling over in a 3-0 defeat at home to Crystal Palace in the FA Cup quarter-finals, only to beat leaders Liverpool next time out they were in front of their own fans. Huh?

When the two sides met at Craven Cottage at the end of December the match ended in a 2-2 draw and another share of the spoils is on the cards again at 27/10 with Bet Victor.

The Cherries have scored in nine of their last ten matches while Fulham have hit the net in nine of their last 11 – both blanks being against the Eagles – so taking a 1-1 draw at 13/2 with bet365 and a 2-2 at 12/1 with the same firm should pay dividends.

• Victory for Coventry at Hull will send them above Bristol City into fifth place in the Championship and five points clear of West Brom, Middlesbrough and Millwall as the play-off face gets down to the nitty-gritty. A home win would send the Tigers above Portsmouth and Stoke and into 18th place and they would be five points clear of the bottom three but they have only won four times at home in the league with seven draws on home soil and a share of the spoils with the Sky Blues is 23/10 with Ladbrokes, Coral, William Hill and many others.

• Defending champion Stefanos Tsitsipas hit seven double faults while losing in three sets to Lorenzo Musetti in the Monte Carlo Masters quarter-finals. He's clearly struggling for form since winning the Dubai Tennis Championship at the start of last month and is 14/5 with William Hill to drop a set against Reilly Opelka before advancing to the second round of this week's Barcelona Open.

Fulham, West Ham United make approach for Joao Palhinha, player wants Bayern Munich stay
Fulham and West Ham United have reportedly enquired about the possibility of signing Joao Palhinha, who could be sold by Bayern Munich.

According to a report by Graeme Bailey on TBR Football, Joao Palhinha has emerged on the radars of Fulham and West Ham United ahead of the summer. The two London sides have enquired about the Portuguese midfielder's potential availability, with Bayern Munich not necessarily opposed to the idea of selling him in the close season.

Joao Palhinha is yet to cement his place in Vincent Kompany's Bayern Munich side, as some injuries and illness issues have disrupted his season. He has missed eight Bundesliga matches through injury, two through illness and one with a suspension while making only six starts in the league in his 14 appearances so far.

Palhinha developed a reputation as a tough midfielder following his short spell at Fulham, who ended up selling him to Bayern Munich for a reported fee of £47 million. The Cottagers are now exploring the possibility of re-signing the Portuguese international in the summer as Marco Silva is ready to reintegrate him into his setup.

Fulham are in the market for a defensive-minded midfielder, having been linked with Christian Norgaard among others. Silva seemingly wants someone in addition to his existing defensive midfielder Sander Berge, and they have enquired about Joao Palhinha ahead of the summer alongside West Ham United.

The Hammers are considering a new midfielder in the summer and could view Palhinha as a suitable outlet for their system. West Ham are linked with a few names like AC MIlan's Yunus Musah, although they could explore a move for the £47 million Bayern Munich midfielder in case the conditions are right.

Bayern Munich ready to sell Joao Palhinha
Bayern Munich are ready to move aggressively in the market and even consider selling Palhinha for the right price in the window. The decision might stem from the fact that Kompany's team have done relatively well without the Portuguese, as they could use the funds to move on to another player in the position.

As for Joao Palhinha, the report states the midfielder is eager to stay on and fight for his place. However, this might be a case for the player to explore further and figure out if he has a big part in Kompany's plans for next season, as he could potentially consider a return to the Premier League, where he has teams waiting for his signature.

Bournemouth vs Fulham: Preview and Prediction
Bournemouth will host Fulham in a huge game of significance for both managers, with the two teams chasing European qualification.

Andoni Iraola will have analysed the reasons for Bournemouth's downfall over the last few weeks as they get set to host Fulham at the Vitality Stadium. The Cherries have gone from the conversation of a probable Champions League qualification to now casting doubts over their ability to even make it to one of the European places.

The Cherries are without a win in the Premier League for six games now, and the last few results have been utterly disappointing. In the middle of that dreadful run, the dream of featuring in Wembley also slipped away, as Bournemouth crashed out of the FA Cup quarter-finals.

Last weekend, they finally looked capable of overcoming their adversities having taken an unassailable 2-0 lead while dominating proceedings against West Ham. Yet, the Hammers came back and managed to draw the clash. Bournemouth are currently on nine points adrift of fifth-placed Aston Villa, and the chances of Champions League qualification are more or less gone, although there is hope to still make one of the continental spots.

Fulham are not that far away from Bournemouth in the standings, but they still are in with a chance of challenging for a top-five place if things go their way. Marco Silva will demand consistency from his players ahead of this run-in, as they can get to within three points of fifth-placed Aston Villa if they win against Bournemouth.

Last weekend, they certainly showed character against the league leaders Liverpool and got a big win under their bag. Alexis Mac Allister gave Arne Slot's side the lead with a stunner from a distance, but that advantage only lasted for a short while.

Fulham's attackers then forced the Liverpool backline to make some terrible mistakes and put them under tremendous pressure in their best period of the game. Ryan Sessegnon, Alex Iwobi, and Rodrigo Muniz all scored in a 14-minute period in the first half to allow Fulham to take a 3-1 lead heading into halftime. A second-half strike from Luis Diaz did make things tricky, but the Cottagers held on to collect three points.

Team News & Tactics
Bournemouth
Bournemouth were dealt with another injury blow as key midfielder Ryan Christie was ruled out for the remainder of the season. The Cherries star had been pushing hard to stay fit from a groin problem and avoid surgery, although the club have decided to get the procedure done, meaning Tyler Adams will have to see out the remainder of the season in midfield alongside Lewis Cook.

Justin Kluivert is a significant doubt for the Fulham clash with an unspecified problem as he also missed the game against West Ham United. Marcus Tavernier is also touch and go for this clash, although Andoni Iraola confirmed Luis Sinisterra might have less of a chance to make it to the squad.

Dango Ouattara is the likely replacement for Kluivert, while David Brooks could take the right-wing slot in the attacking third. Antoine Semenyo and Evanilson will complete the attacking setup, with the latter eager to become only the fourth Brazilian to score ten goals or more in his debut Premier League campaign.

Probable Lineup (4-2-3-1): Kepa; Hill, Zabarnyi, Huijsen, Kerkez; Adams, Cook; Brooks, Ouattara, Semenyo; Evanilson

Fulham
Unlike Andoni Iraola, Marco Silva does not have a whole lot of injury problems to contend with, with Reiss Nelson the only absentee as things stand. Harry Wilson might be some way off from making it to the matchday squad having returned to training.

Silva is not expected to make any significant changes to his side from the win over Liverpool. Calvin Bassey and Joachim Andersen are expected to keep their central defensive spots, with Timoty Castagne and Antonee Robinson in the full-back roles.

Kenny Tete made his long-awaited return to action against Liverpool for the last part of the game to add defensive resilience at the back as Fulham were protecting a narrow lead. Meanwhile, Andreas Pereira will keep his place ahead of Emile Smith Rowe, while Iwobi and Sessegnon will continue on the wide areas while Muniz will once again lead the line for Fulham against Bournemouth.

Probable Lineup (4-2-3-1): Leno; Castagne, Andersen, Bassey, Robinson; Berge, Lukic; Sessegnon, Pereira, Iwobi; Muniz

Key Stats

Bournemouth are winless in their last six games in the Premier League.
Bournemouth have conceded at least two goals in their last five matches in the Premier League.
Fulham can go up to three points off fifth-placed Aston Villa in the standings with a win.
Fulham have one clean sheet in their last nine Premier League games.
Evanilson has scored nine league goals this season, the most by a player in their debut top-flight campaign with Bournemouth.

Player to Watch
Evanilson
The Brazilian striker has made a big mark since his return from a broken foot, scoring four times in his four starts since in the Premier League. He might have hoped the brace against West Ham United resulted in a win, which was not to be the case.

Evanilson will aim to continue this scoring run to help Bournemouth push for a probable European place in the remaining games of the season. He will be key for the team's chances ahead, as the likes of Bassey and Andersen will have a field day keeping the Brazilian quiet.

Prediction
Bournemouth 1-2 Fulham
Bournemouth are not in the form they would have wanted to in the final run-in this season. There was a genuine chance for Iraola to coach this side to a big European place, realistically the Europa League. But with the level of competition above them, even qualifying for the UEFA Eiora Conference League now looks difficult but not impossible. Their current winless run will play a part in this pressure-induced clash, as they could falter again.

Fulham will come into this clash full of confidence following that stellar victory over leaders Liverpool, and Marco Silva will want another big win in the bag. The Cottagers also have the squad to maintain a strong run in the final games of the season, as they will take a win here at Bournemouth and continue their probable push for a difficult yet achievable Champions League spot.

Bournemouth vs Fulham: Preview, predictions and lineups

Fulham visit Bournemouth in the Premier League on Monday night
Cottagers still boast chance of securing European football
Cherries in disappointing form and five games without victory

Fulham hope to pile more misery on out-of-form Bournemouth when they visit the Vitality Stadium on Monday night.

Marco Silva's Cottagers bounced back from successive defeats in style last weekend as they beat league leaders Liverpool and are looking to follow up that scalp with victory on the south coast. They still have an opportunity to finish in the European places this season but can ill-afford many slip-ups between now and the campaign's conclusion.

Bournemouth still harbour increasingly slim hopes of qualifying for Europe themselves but have fallen back to earth in recent weeks. They have failed to win any of their last six Premier League matches having fallen down the table and have been particularly poor on home soil, where they haven't won in any competition across 90 minutes since the end of January.

Here is 90min's guide to Monday's clash.

Bournemouth team news
Bournemouth still need to assess the availability of forward trio Marcus Tavernier, Luis Sinisterra and, most importantly, Justin Kluivert ahead of Monday's battle with the Cottagers. Andoni Iraola would benefit from at least one of his injured attackers returning to the fold given his side's current form.

nes Unal will not be available again this season due to an ACL injury and Ryan Christie will also be missing for the remainder of the term after recently undergoing surgery on a knee issue.

Bournemouth predicted lineup vs Fulham
Bournemouth predicted lineup vs Fulham (4-2-3-1): Kepa; Smith, Zabarnyi, Huijsen, Kerkez; Adams, Cook; Ouattara, Scott, Semenyo; Evanilson.

Fulham team news
Fulham are again without the injured Reiss Nelson but could welcome Harry Wilson back into the fold. The Wales international has recently returned to training having been sidelined since the end of January.

Marco Silva will be hesitant to make any changes from the team that beat Liverpool last time out, with the likes of Raul Jimenez, Adama Traore and Emile Smith Rowe likely to start on the bench once more.

Fulham predicted lineup vs Bournemouth
Fulham predicted lineup vs Bournemouth (4-2-3-1): Leno; Castagne. Andersen, Bassey, Robinson; Berge, Lukic; Sessegnon, Pereira, Iwobi; Muniz.

Bournemouth vs Fulham score prediction
Bournemouth enter this fixture in surprisingly underwhelming form and have lost their last three homes matches 2-1, with Monday potentially seeing them finish on the wrong side of that particular scoreline once again.

Fulham will be buzzing after their terrific victory against Liverpool last time out and have an almost entirely fit squad for their trip to the south coast. They know defeat will see them leapfrogged by Bournemouth in the standings, but victory will take them six points clear of their competitors for European football. That motivation may inspire them to victory.

Prediction: Bournemouth 1-2 Fulham

Bournemouth out to end 94-year wait for winning feat in Premier League home clash with Fulham
Bournemouth will have the chance to achieve a winning feat for the first time in 94 years when they welcome Fulham to the Vitality Stadium for Monday's Premier League fixture.

The Cherries are looking to get their European bid back on track after taking just two points from their last six league matches.

They collect one of those two points in their most recent outing against West Ham United at the London Stadium, where Evanilson netted a brace to ensure the contest finished in a 2-2 draw.

Having gone nearly two months without a league win, Bournemouth are sitting in 10th place with a nine-point gap to the top seven, although they can close that deficit to six points with a victory in Monday's contest.

Bournemouth out to end 94-year wait for winning feat
The Cherries have enjoyed success in their last two home games against Fulham, recording a 2-1 victory in April 2023, before they eased to a 3-0 win in December of the same year.

As a result of those two victories, Bournemouth now have the chance to claim three consecutive home wins against Fulham for the first time since 1931.

However, achieving that feat will be easier said than done, especially as they have lost each of their last four top-flight home games against Liverpool, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Brentford and Ipswich Town.

The South Coast side are now at risk of losing five consecutive home league matches for the first time since 2005.

What is Bournemouth's latest injury news?
Kluivert has been one of Bournemouth's key players this season, having scored 13 goals and provided eight assists in 33 competitive appearances this term.

However, he has been absent for the last two matches due to injury and remains a doubt for Monday's home clash with Marco Silva's side.

Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola revealed on Friday that a late decision will be made on Kluivert's availability.

Luis Sinisterra and Marcus Tavernier will also be assessed ahead of the home fixture, but the Cherries will definitely be without Ryan Christie after he was recently ruled out for the rest of the season with a persistent injury that requires surgery.

Meanwhile, forward Enes Unal remains a long-term absentee after he sustained an anterior cruciate ligament injury in January.

Preview: Rovers Under-21s v Fulham Under-21s
Rovers Under-21s take to the field for the final time in 2024-25 when Mike Sheron's side welcome Fulham Under-21s to Ewood Park tonight.

Aiming to end the term on a high note, victory will see Rovers end the campaign on 23 points, but they won't be able to finish any higher than 18th in the table even with a win.

It's also a chance to get back on track following the 3-0 defeat at Southampton Under-21s last time out at St Mary's.

Sheron may opt to rotate in a bid to see who could be part of his plans next term, with the likes of Silver Eze, Bruce Leeming and Nathan Dlamini in contention to play a part.

Igot Tyjon could also gain minutes after being an unused substitute for the first-team's win at Luton Town on Saturday. Nick Michalski and Adam Khan will battle it out to see who gets the nod to start in goal.

Unfortunately for Sheron, there'll be no returning Rovers to select, with Zak Gilsenan, Isaac Whitehall and Tom Bloxham all out with injury problems.

There's plenty at stake for tonight's visitors, with the Whites sitting in second place in the table and just two points behind Manchester City's Under-21s.

Hayden Mullins' men are unbeaten in their last three outings and come into the test on the back of a 1-1 draw with the Cityzens last time out. Therefore, the clash at Ewood is a must-win for the Londoners, who will lift the title should they triumph and City lose against Newcastle United Under-21s.

Rovers triumphed in the last meeting between the teams in 2023-24, with Gilsenan and Harley O'Grady-Macken on target in a 2-1 win at Fulham's Motspur Park training base in Surrey.

Fabrizio Romano: Two Managers Lead Race to Replace Postecoglou at Tottenham
Fabrizio Romano has poured cold water over any immediate Tottenham Hotspur move for Thiago Motta to become their potential new manager - with the Italian journalist writing in his GIVEMESPORT newsletter that there have been 'no contacts' with the former Juventus manager at this stage, and that Andoni Iraola and Marco Silva are the two frontrunners for the job after their stellar efforts at Bournemouth and Fulham respectively.

Ange Postecoglou's men lost yet another game in their Premier League season on Sunday, falling 4-2 at lowly Wolverhampton Wanderers to move 15th in the table, and just two points away from 17th place in the division - which could be their worst Premier League campaign this side of the millennium.

Romano: Iraola and Silva 'Lead' Tottenham Managerial Race, No Contact for Motta
Anything but a win for Postecoglou in Thursday's crunch Europa League clash against Eintracht Frankfurt could see him lose his job, with a shambolic top-flight campaign only likely to be saved by his endeavours on the continent, which could secure not only a trophy but qualification for Europe next season for the Australian boss.

And his poor run of form has seen Motta linked, after he was sacked by Juventus earlier in the campaign, despite losing just seven games from 42 in all competitions.

However, Romano has denied any recent reports that Motta will come into Tottenham's helm anytime soon - stating that Iraola and Silva are the two concrete options in north London, and that for Motta, there haven't been any contacts at this stage. He wrote in his GIVEMESPORT newsletter:

"I'm still hearing about Iraola and Silva as two concrete options. For Motta, no contacts at this stage."

Tottenham drew their first leg with Frankfurt 1-1 on Thursday evening, and will go on to face either Lazio or Bodo/Glimt in the Europa League semi-finals if they can get past the Bundesliga side in Germany later this week. Should Postecoglou end their trophy drought, he could get a third campaign with Champions League football under his belt, though that is easier said than done.

Iraola and Silva have been dark horses all season, having led Bournemouth and Fulham to the top half of the top-flight, and their adaptability to the Premier League has seen them become attractive options for some of England's top jobs throughout the campaign and even last season, in Silva's case.

Meanwhile, Motta rose to prominence last season after taking Bologna to fifth in Serie A, qualifying for the Champions League itself thanks to UEFA's new coefficient rules, which allow the top two performing countries in European competitions to take an extra spot for their leagues - in which case, Bologna and Borussia Dortmund benefitted with fifth-placed finishes.

Up next: AFC Bournemouth (a)
Fulham's erratic European bid could gather pace on the south coast should Marco Silva's side following up their stunning success over league leaders Liverpool by beating AFC Bournemouth in a clash between two teams who have spent most of the season flirting with continental qualification. But consistency has hardly been the Whites' watchword of late – with the only certainty concerning the Cottagers recently coming with the fact that they follow a Premier League victory with a defeat. The weekend results went about as well as they could to boost Fulham's hopes of climbing the table, but it only serves to make this more of a crunch clash.

Andoni Iraola's side have lost form at just the wrong time as the race for Europe really hots up. The Cherries haven't won in six league games, picking up only two draws in those matches. Bournemouth, just three points behind Silva's side, will see this evening as a terrific opportunity to put their poor form behind them – especially as they are unbeaten at home against Fulham in thirty years. A repeat of last season's resounding success, when Fulham failed to turn up on Boxing Day, would see the hosts leapfrog Fulham into eighth place in the table.

Bournemouth will have to do without Ryan Christie, who has been ruled out for the remainder of the campaign having required surgery on a groin problem, and will have to wait to see whether any of Marcus Tavernier, Luis Sinisterra or Justin Kluivert, who came so close to moving to Craven Cottage last year, pass late fitness tests. There are still plenty of attacking weapons to hurt the Whites, especially the talent of Antoine Semenyo, who has kicked on since he made mincemeat of Fulham's defence both in SW6 and in B4 during his Bristol City days. Brazilian striker Evanilson might have had a slow start after his £40m move from Porto but the former Fluminense forward has scored six in his last six outings – bagging a brace at West Ham United last weekend.

Bournemouth could clinch a third straight home league win over the Whites for the first time since 1931 this evening and their recent record against Silva's side is encouraging. Fulham have kept only one clean sheet in their last twelve games against the Cherries – which came when they were already relegated in 2019 – and let in a late equaliser after Christmas at the Cottage this season. On the flip side, defeat for Bournemouth would since them beaten for the fifth time at home in the league for the first time in twenty years when a dire end to the season under former Fulham midfielder Sean O'Driscoll cost the Cherries a League One play-off spot.

Silva might reasonably view this evening's encounter as a chance to stake a clash for finishing higher than eighth. He has spoken in the build-up to the game of his admiration for how his opposite number has turbo charged Bournemouth's rise since his appointment, but also of why the Whites should come into this contest with confidence. There is a strong case for sticking with the same eleven that so disorientated the champions' elect at the Cottage last Sunday, but the introduction of Kenny Tete for Timothy Castagne might help in curbing the adventurousness of the only man who can rival Antonee Robinson as the Premier League's best left back in Milos Kerkez.

Silva has successfully rotated Rodrigo Muniz, who could become only the second Brazilian to score in four straight Premier League games after Richarlison tonight, and Raul Jimenez this term. It will be intriguing to see how the Whites manage to counter Bournemouth's high-pressing, high-energy approach – if only because Silva's own attacking approach has largely been stifled in previous meetings between the sides. Might there be an opportunity for Harry Wilson – if only from the bench – to demonstrate his goalscoring prowess against one of his former clubs?

MY FULHAM XI (4-2-3-1): Leno; Tete, A. Robinson, Andersen, Bassey; Berge, Lukic; Iwobi, R. Sessegnon, Pereira; Muniz. Subs: Benda, Castagne, Diop, Reed, Cairney, Traore, Smith Rowe, Wilson, Jimenez.

Tottenham consider three Premier League rival managers as Ange Postecoglou pressure ramps up
Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou is under huge pressure after his side suffered their 17th Premier League defeat of the season against Wolves and three managers are in the frame to replace him

Fulham will face a major battle to keep Marco Silva if Tottenham come calling. And Crystal Palace in-demand manager Oliver Glasner is another name in the frame along with Bournemouth's Andoni Iraola.

Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou is under increasing pressure with a growing belief that he could go even if they win the Europa League.

Postecoglou admitted himself last week there was a "general sentiment" that he could be axed this summer no matter what.

Tottenham crashed to a 17th Premier League defeat of the season at Wolves on Sunday which is unthinkable for a club with ambitions of being in the Champions League.

Spurs have been supportive and stuck with Postecoglou through a difficult season which has seen the squad ravaged by injuries.

But the Spurs fan base have got major doubts and that may force the hierarchy to act with Silva gaining admirers for the job he has done at Craven Cottage.

Fulham will be determined to keep him but Silva - who has managed previously at Olympiacos, Hull, Watford and Everton - may find it difficult if a club with top six ambitions comes in.

Silva has been at Craven Cottage since 2021, it has been reported that he has a £6m get-out clause and has previously turned down big-money approaches, including one from the Saudi Pro League.

When asked last week about his future, Silva - who has one year left on his existing deal - insisted he is fully "focused" on his current job.

Iraola has also been one of the managers linked with Spurs but Bournemouth are pulling out all the stops to keep their highly-rated boss.

Bournemouth have had a superb season even if their form has tailed off in recent weeks but they will back their manager in the market.

Palace boss Glasner is also gaining admirers with RB Leipzig heavily linked in Germany while Bayern Munich expressed an interest last year.

Tottenham face a Europa League second leg trip to Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday with the chance to progress after drawing 1-1 at home last week. Winning the trophy would also offer a passport into the Champions League.

Yes but what would be the attitude of Bayern towards Fulham after the difficult negotiations before the transfer went through.
