Quote from: Milo on January 07, 2026, 08:26:22 PMI think the clear sub is to bring on Kevin.

I think the overlapping wingers is working well and a formation change isn't needed. It's actually working perfectly.

I would sacrifice ESR for Kevin.
ESR has been one of our most dangerous players imo(maybe even the most dangerous player). I also don't feel like we've created any good openings apart from the offside goal we scored.

Cucurella did as a huge favour. They were very dangerous from corners and now Chelsea is pretty much neutralised.

Id just go to 4 at the back and push ESR to the 8 with Kevin on for Diop

Were on top, as we should be . But we're also not getting enough shots in despite the domination of possession . If rather we just went for it tbh.

Steeeeeeeeeed

Burnley 1- 0 Man United.

Heaven scores for Scott Parker (OG) 😁

Agreed. I think we are rushing things in the final third though.

Quote from: Sgt Fulham on January 07, 2026, 08:26:01 PMIm not arguing that its not offside, because it is. But what advantage does the attacker gain from being offside in the situation Raul was in?

I suppose if he'd colleced the ball a foot further back towards our goal he might not have found wilson? Unlikely, but possible, and so there must be a line drawn somewhere.

They should change the measurement point for offsides to the head of the player. Raul is in line with the defender, apart from his leg sticking out slightly. There is no advantage at all, it's just he's in movement while the defender is static. If they made it the head you'd get a fairer sense of where someone is on the pitch rather than some arbitrary limb sticking out.

Yeah me too. Although I'd maybe sub off Cuenca. As great as he was he's on a yellow. With how much Chelsea are cheating at the moment, it takes one moment of successful cheating and we're down to 10 as well. Diop has played well on the left side in the past.

Tbh

Him being offside allowed him to quickly ghost back in to play and pick up the pass as the Chelsea players had switched off assuming he was off.

I'd say take off Leno and bring in Sessegnon.

The overlap is working but Robinson's passing has been poor ( we need him on though). Kevin could cause chaos running into the box and may even get a second yellow for Tosin .

You called it Serbian Lad

SerbianLad

Kevin for Cuenca! Great sub

Good job Silva's suspension if for the cup match on Saturday - not that Middlesboro will be a pushover

Especially as Silva will almost certainly opt to rest players.

MisfitKid

Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most...

SerbianLad

This referee is absolutely superb! Best ref we've had in years!

Sgt Fulham

We'll never live it down if we lose this lol. Come on Fulham
