Sgt Fulham

All set up for an exciting second half. Or a bit of a battering...

Free hit in any case  ::scarf::

Bassey the warrior

ESR has been very good, reminiscent of his first few games here before he went off the boil.

Please explain why. Every one of the MC goals has been a good one. I can't see what the manager could have done about them. ( Or any other team outside the top four.) We've another game in 5 days and some of the players missing tonight will benefit from the rest.

Because he set up in a negative formation to contain City, and it didn't work. We've been giving the ball away in soft areas because Lukic and Berge when played together recycle the ball negatively, and Lukic has dropped a stinker. That's before we even get onto the CB's also looking like they've spent the afternoon in the pub as well, you can't look at that performance and say that were looking to do anything in particular other than just exist on the pitch

I think Bassey and Andersen need to do much better for the first two. Tete and Sess for the first as well, to a lesser extent. 3rd was just individual brilliance from Foden.

Quote from: Milo on December 02, 2025, 08:19:54 PMSo Chuk plus King at half time and let's hope for a City capitulation.

Silva has been given a sniff of a lifeline.. will he make the most of it with bold half time changes?

Who is King coming on for? Who would you take out?

I've done the maths on my fingers and you're right!

Lukic for Chuk at half time. Iwobi moves to the centre and Chuk on left wing.

At 75 mins we take off ESR as he tires for King.

And move Bassey to left back and get Sess off. Cuenca central.

Because hes has since saturday too watch leeds try and defend and go 2 goals down against city and when they decided to attack score 2, so marco decides to defend

Castagne and Chuk on for Tete and Lukic.

Simples..Too defensive side from the start, and giving them too much respect as per norm.

Let's hope he can get it right 2nd half.

Stats back up my comments regarding Lukic. Game high duels won 4/5 and joint highest tackles won 2/2,but he lost possession 10 times and poor passing percentage 74%. Not sure what happened there, as he looked sharp against Spurs.

Chukwueze and Castagne coming on for Lukic and Tete. Good subs, imo.

I don't think Leno covers himself in glory, mainly for the 3rd goal. It's a poor punch.

You're right about the midfield pairing, and that is down to the manager, but he's not responsible for the poor performances of the CBs.

Leno should have caught rather than punch.
