Well let the games begin will Marco leave ?. Will Fulham rush a contract through with fear of him leaving ?
Would the Khans be bothered if he left after his outbursts over transfers.

Nuno signed a new 3 year deal in June , they just spent nearly 200 million in the transfer window ,  and now the with the season just started the new players just settling in and now needing a new Coach and backroom staff .......looks like Forest are going to have wild ride for the next two months , especially if the new Gaffer doesn't get a win after his first 4 games in charge
If it wasn't for the medication I,d be chewing on your skin

Who on their right mind would choose to work for Marinakis? (Unless they were after a short term very lucrative pay-day)  Nuno seems to be a respectful, honourable, dignified man, not so Marinakis.
The world is made up of electrons, protons, neurons, possibly muons and, definitely, morons.

Woolly Mammoth

It has become a pantomime at the expense of honourable men, and the game of football and its supporters.
Its not the man in the fight, it's the fight in the man.  🐘

Ange likely to be confirmed today.

iansthailand

Lotsa lotsa potsa glue and the Fat Greek. Will need a wide-bodied plane to get them on board.

General

What an odd situation.. and for them to replace their best ever manager (or up there according to their fans), with Ange...

Finishing 17th with that Spurs team is abysmal.

Lump on Forest to go down.

FFC007

We smashed Postecoglu at home last season and drew away.

Should be easy pickings.

This is an interesting take,

So nuno has quite clearly orchestrated this dismissal, his comments to the media were baffling.

But if he was trying to get sacked (to get his pay out) then it makes complete sense.

But why would he want to leave? The chairman spends and the clubs just off the back of a sensational season?

But maybe the chairman isnt an honest man. And you are. What now?

Lukic yellow card. Doesn't count for us does it?

Wrong thread? 🤔

I don't think Nuno fell out directly with Marinakis. As I read it he rapidly fell out with Edu after his appointment as Marinakis clear right hand man. By falling out so comprehensively with Edu his relationship with Marinakis was, as a consequence, inevitably damaged beyond repair.

Either way it's a huge mistake

Very weird decision. I'd be livid if I was a Forest fan. They were, up until relatively recently stuck in the Championship and then they battled relegation when they came up and then Nuno came in, saved them from getting relegated and now got them in to Europe. What more could they expect from him? He has every right to ask to have a bigger say in their transfer dealings after what he's achieved with them. Very poor from Forest...

Bassey the warrior

I think Marinakis is probably hard to work with, he's a toxic personality with an unpredictable streak. Nuno seemed fed up last season and was ready to go even before the start of the window.

I also find Postecoglou quite unlikeable. When in a good mood he's a bit of a braggart, when up against it he turns into Mourinho with all the negging.

I wonder how long it will be until they fall out.

Probably is putting it lightly here I think, but fully agree with all you say.

People found Ange's mate and Aussie personality a breath of fresh air initially, but didn't take long for him to sour and be extremely rude and dislikeable as you say.

Really hope it all goes tits up.

Last season's the Europa League I thought was extremely low quality and seems so again, that Forest have a very good chance to win it. Aided by the fact that Champions League dropouts don't get catapulted in to knockout stages.

There's Villa, but of the European teams there isn't anyone you look at as being hugely dangerous. Gasperini's Roma maybe, Betis, Stuttgart? I'd fancy our chances against anyone in the Europa table.
