Worth a shot in getting him on a loan until end of season in January?

With Kevin and Muniz there too, it certainly would be a positive thing for him to know that he'll have fellow Brazilians there, plus Silva (Portuguese speaker) if he stays.

He is diminutive but he's about as wide as he is tall so that may make up for it! However, I don't think he's a realistic target, and don't think we'd be the kind of loan that Real would want anyway

IIRC, Guiu can't play for another club other than Sunderland as you cant play for more than two clubs in a season....

I think Real will be paying half his salary while he's on loan. Rumours are he could go to Lyon. Would certainly take him but doesn't have the height and strength Marco targets in a 9.

Was rumoured we enquired about Flaco Lopez in the summer but Palmeiras wouldn't release him until the end of their season. They are top of the league with 7 games to play so we could go back in for him they want about 20m.

Never thought I would feel under silva we would be relegated but I think we are and so be it ,the blame is as much  as Marco as it is SK as he ignores what TK doesn't do.
It won't be the end of the world,mostly Saturday games a great league goin,good atmospheres during games.

We need bring in a more experienced, physically strong striker in my opinion.  Someone similar in profile to Mateta. Where we find that player - I've no idea! The majority of other clubs are also after the same, so it is going to be difficult to bring in anyone close to his quality.
