True I'd take a Fulham FA cup winning season for another season in the championship!

Guehi is on 300k a week until 2031 - what in the 115 charges is going on? Is that not basically what Saudi teams are paying their foreign players?

I wouldn't!  No way.  Yeah, we all know that FFC lacks any silverware at top level in their storied and long history.  And yes, that is a shame.  But after this length of time more waiting for this to happen can't make that much difference.  The entertainment value in my FFC world is watching them play in the Premier League.  I want to avoid second tier football at all costs, and certainly wouldn't 'trade' a cup for a re-visit to the Champ.  I know the PL is challenging and we have a rather 'small' club, but playing at top level is always my goal, and I suspect the goal of all the players and coaches.  COYW!!

Interesting view, it has never bothered me who we play, couldn't care less if we played Liverpool or Boston this weekend, I don't go to watch the opposition, I want to see whatever team we put out. Sadly, I don't think both Fulham or the PL is entertaining at the moment, result wise, we're doing ok, but I want to be entertained, I'd rather see Fulham lose 4-3 in a cracker than sit through any of the last 4 Fulham Vs Man United games.

The only games I don't care about performance is Chelsea and QPR,

Each to their own but football has to be entertaining.

A client asked me what's the point of Fulham? He's a Newcastle fan, we don't win anything, don't play attractive football and we don't really move up or down in the league.

Couldn't disagree!

What arrogance (from your client). You could say the same about 99% of clubs that's ever existed. Only a few percentage of clubs ever win anything and only 6 clubs every season in the country get to compete in Europe.

Fulham 442

We don't play attractive football? I beg to differ, although obviously we have a crap game now and again ie against Leeds last weekend. I have to be honest and say I get pissed off when people laugh when I say I'm a Fulham fan. We've been in the EPL more often than not for a number of years now but at the end of the day it's my local team where I grew up. My reply is always that I can never be accused of being a glory hunter and also that I wouldn't have it any other way.  FTID!

And Newcastle have won everything this year!!!!!

Mateta now also asked to leave Palace - hard to imagine a worse 12 months after winning the first trophy in your clubs history; lost their best two players, going to lose the third and the manager wants a pay off, absolutely brutal

Obviously I'm not a Palace fan, but I share their fans dismay.

The wheels have now officially come off

When they beat us on December 7th they were 4th in the League, now in absolute free fall and destined for the Championship,
Some on this thread have said that they would accept relegation for an FA Cup win, I can guarantee you that neither Steve Parrish or Shahid Khan would, staying in the Premier League now is imperative or kiss good bye to all your best players.

Quote from: JimmyConway on January 16, 2026, 01:56:46 PMHow has it got to this? Won the FA Cup playing in Europe but looks like wheels are falling off rapidly?

Glasner confirms he is leaving Palace this summer and Ghehi pulled out of squad tomorrow for premier league fixture against Sunderland. Looks like he is signing for Man City as they have central defensive issues.

No different to us is it ?
Manager almost out of contract and star player (Wilson) about to become a free agent and nothing their board (or ours) can do about it.

I wasn't aware that January was over yet or am I missing something

If they were to get relegated I will be playing this seriously annoying song in honor of them for weeks on end

Forest v Palace next Sunday - tasty.

Palace lose that and Glasner is out on his ear

Forest playing at home in the Europa League on Thursday which might work in Palace's favour.

Somerset Fulham

Spurs are also free falling. They are not too big to go down and whether they know it or not are in a relegation fight

To be fair they've kissed goodbye to their best two with the third also wanting out so that's happening while they're still a PL team with a shortly departing manager on top of that. It's got to be one of the bigggest collapses in a PL team's fortunes ever - they'll be wishing they had another of their anonymous and still somehow finish 12th seasons I'm sure because a decent year and they've imploded

Apparently Liverpool are looking to buying Adam Wharton this month so not only did they lose their captain, their manager is leaving, their star striker wants out but now their star midfielder looks to be going too. I've never seen a collapse this big and so quickly in my entire life.
