First interview

He starts off sentences with "No" a lot, is that a Norwegian thing?

No

Not the most articulate fellow country man I have ever heard he sure isn't gonna make it in politics after his career  :slap:  But his abilities will surely speak for him. Maybe the medical kept him up all night before the interview, or he might be a bit reserved type personality, i honestly can not remember having heard him talk much before.

Honestly I actually saw his slightly monosyllabic answers as a sign of no-nonsense intelligence. Football interviews are often beyond boring and benign, and often scripted, for many it's considered a very simple job which is rarely taken seriously. Like - what did Marco say to you, What did Berge say to you? -- what level of personal detail are you going to divulge in a public facing interview, let alone the first one you give at a new club?

What's your position and how do you describe your playing style.. football really isn't rocket science. If it were, you wouldn't have Carragher and Neville as pundits, that's for sure.

Snibbo

I think English is his third language after Norwegian and Portuguese. So I reckon he's doing pretty well.
