Quote from: Oakeshott on March 23, 2026, 08:10:14 PMThe problem is that while Harry Wilson is having a wonderful season, in previous years he has been very in and out, and is no spring chicken. Great if he stays, and hopefully he will do well again, but I'd not be surprised if, at another club with different ways of playing, he disappoints. If it were either/or, I'd rather take a chance on Chukwueze who might just make into a top player.

Could well be the case though in Harry's defence he plays very well for Wales, so there is that.

@jolslover

Chuk perm is a good option for us I think, pre Afcon he looked a top winger and was causing defenders all kinds of problems. He's definitely got ability and hope to see him perform more consistently now

Let's not forget his superb goal v Brighton which got us back in the game.

Quote from: KentFulham on March 24, 2026, 12:42:38 PMJury is out on Chuk though I don't think he has been any better/worse than Kevin, if anything I would say slightly better, yet we have lots of Kev fans who wont have a bad word said, maybe the £40m price tag does that. He is clearly one footed judging by his shot at the weekend when cutting in from the left, looked perfect to curl on the right and made a bit of a harsh trying the outside of the left. Looked more comfortable once Wilson went off and he switched sides.

It was E40m (£34.5m) not the figure you continually use. Still a lot but significantly lower

I like Chuk, he brings an enthusiasm to the game. I just hope his drop in form is not permanent though.

Anyone think we might test wolves resolve and show interest in Andre?

We were interested a few years ago and/but I haven't seen much of him for wolves.

Could be on a cheap though 😋

From what I've seen of him this season, its a no from me.
He passes a bit quicker but is less physical, switches off defensively and is not an upgrade on anyone we have,

I very much doubt it. Silva had a choice between Andre and Berge and chose the latter

Same source that gave me the Pepi info also saying that Silva has agreed to stay but hasn't signed while he waits on Spurs.

He claims that the Pepi deal was to show Silva the backing he needs.

So you're telling me Pepi is sanctioned/asked for by Marco? The American connection smells like TK is behind it.

I like Chukuweze but at 27 going into next season, he isn't getting any better, and the reported price of £20m ain't cheap. I wouldn't be disappointed if we pursued alternatives to be honest.

"he's been deployed in central midfield, attacking midfield, on the wing and as a centre-forward this term."

Could be a useful addition. Right footed creative midfielder.

He said Pepi is "Silva's" no 1 target. Sorry I don't know anything else.

Is this FFN? If not this appears to be a word for word relaying of what FFN is saying on other public channels

No, I'm not FFN. As I said, I know someone who knows a bit about this deal. That's it.
