No he wouldn't have. Leno is terrible at penalties. Lecomte is excellent. He almost saved this one too
Leno has a better career record on penalties than does Lecomte.
Lecomte has better Fulham record, and by some margin.
LOL, his sample size is miniscule at Fulham (and you're obviously counting a penalty shootout against League 1 opposition)!

Since he's been at Fulham, he's saved or been very close to saving pretty much every penalty. He guessed the right side almost every time. Leno,on thr other hand, Manchester United shoot-out aside, has looked hopeless at penalties for Fulham.

1) FYP

2) LOL, again. So your rationale for saying "Leno is terrible at penalties. Lecomte is excellent" is 8 penalties faced by Lecomte, all against lower level opposition, 7 of those in a penalty shootout against League 1 plodders??? Again, a detailed look at their career record shows that against top level opposition Leno saves penalties at a ~4% better rate than Lecomte (who if we're being honest has been playing against weaker opposition in France than Bernd has faced in England and Germany). Look, I'm not arguing Leno is good against penalties, I don't think he is, but I do think that the statement "Leno is terrible at penalties. Lecomte is excellent" is completely unsupported by evidence and frankly quite ridiculous.
