Is this the right time to go on the Arsenal forum and thank them for restricting the Wolves to one point ?

Dodgin

Not sure that the late Trossard injury was genuine, if it wasn't it probably cost them the win

bobbo

I wanted arsenal to win but a bit of me feels they got their deserts due trossards theatrics .

City probably 2 points behind after the weekend and still to play Arsenal at the Etihad.

I make City favourites now.

Terrible result for Arsenal tonight.

He's just doing what he's been told.

Buck stops with Arteta, he's got the conservatism of Mourinho and the reluctance to counter attack of Pep's false 9-era Man City. They have a lot of direct and pacy players but they don't get the most from them because they follow an overly rigid and risk averse structure.

I'd better get warmed up

Spot on, it's absolutely painful. Obviously operating at a far higher level, but the conservatism has shades of Parker. They're not confident in breaking teams down, and when up try and settle on it rather than consolidating their superiority.

These minor things have really set a rot in, ie not trying to beat Forest away but taking a one point gain as City lost. I think that result was a disaster for a club that's as psychologically brittle as they are.

For them it's a good thing that they're next playing Spurs away. If ever a game would let you forget about a previous match and just be up for the match on its own merits, this is the perfect one.

Arteta doesn't know how to win the Prem. He's been here before, every time they get into a strong points position he goes deeply conservative and they start bottling matches they should be winning. His mentality spreads through the team, they should believe they are world beaters, I stead they look so timid.

Jesus should have off last night for his assault on Mosquera....

Watching a few clips of them bleating in Arsenal TV. Some glorious meltdowns. Used to consider Arsenal as a kind of second club for me when I was younger, stood on the North Bank a few times when we were kids and we were away, I liked how they were the only London club to threaten the Northern dominance, but some of the entitled idiots they've picked up over the years put paid to all that. That Ty t**t for one

Same for me, one of my best mates as a young kid offered me a season ticket so I went when i wasn't watching Fulham, around 81-82. But my dislike for them has grown a lot over the years, mainly because of their fans but they've also got quite an unlikeable bunch of players too.

cant stand arsenal

bog

I used to like the City of old but not this money laden lot.

demeant0r

To be honest, I would much rather Arsenal won the title than that oil-run club.

Fulham Tup North

Arsenal at 2 up should have pressed on... instead, they went into themselves and as soon as it went 2-1, they looked scared. 😱
The Managers anxiety is spreading to his players.
Beat Spuds and they will look favourites again.
City have got Chelsea and Newcastle to play. Arsenal at the Etihad will be the big one.
