I don't think he'd be a good replacement for Marco. In our current set up, it appears to me that we are heavily dependent on the manager as far as transfers go. The club has no director of football or institutional scouting set up. I think Marco has a big say in who we identify as targets and who we end up signing. In both instances where Howe was in charge of transfers in the past both at Bournemouth and this last summer at Newcastle it's been a disaster. I would not want Eddie Howe in charge of the clubs transfer business.

But you are happy with the transfer business Marco Silva has carried out ?

For the most part yes

I'd take Eddie in a heartbeat if Silva goes. Take away someone like Isaak and put too much pressure on anyone, tough to recreate brilliance every season. We've got good players. They're just bored.

Yes the players are bored having to put up with Silvas system of play of walking football and passing needlessly back to the keeper, inviting pressure.
