If we win our last three

Regardless how we got here (a lot of poor performances it feels like) we are here.

A home match against a similar level team to help make a final push. You then get one of the worst teams in PL history next away. Get 6 points from those 2 games and its all to play for.

One thing thats been hard to accept with the PL is parity. The league is so even 5-15 that we forget, the pain points we have, all the other clubs have too.

Brighton feel like an exciting club with talent and play a good brand of football - they are 2 points up on us. Brentford punched above their weight all season, 3 points above us.

Its just one of those seasons and as weird as the journey has felt, 3 weeks of nice results flips how we feel about it. I still have a little bit of hope.

It's what we do. I still haven't got over Fulham 0 - Preston 1 May 1st 1971.

I was there for that. Feel the same way as you over that one.

Needless to say, (but I'll say it anyway) we will need to be absolutely top drawer against an in-form Bournemouth.

Aftetwards, we still went on the pitch and stood in front of the cottage and applauded the players though. That probably wouldn't happen now.
