Games for the Week-end 01/04

We get to travel to the south coast to take on Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium for a Saturday 15:00 kick-off

Bournemouth v Fulham

So we’ll be without Willian and Mitro for this game, Marco will be “in the stands”? At the time of writing we don’t know the length of bans. Marco has also been charged with misconduct for comments he made after the game! The Football Association alleges Silva’s post-match comments “constitute improper conduct in that they imply bias and/or question the integrity of the match official, and/or bring the game into disrepute”. So you can’t complain about multiple and historic poor decisions without it being “improper”, who holds the officials to account?

With Bournemouth currently sitting in 19th they’ll be looking for every point and hoping for better than the 2-2 earlier in the season.

Current Form:
Bournemouth – WLLWL
Fulham – WWDLL

Our recient record against Bournemouth is 1 win, 3 losses and 3 draws.

Assuming players returning from international duty in good time, no additional injuries, or suspensions my team would be..

team to face Bournemouth away

Games for the Week-end 23/04

We visit the Vitality Stadium to take on Bournemouth in this “top of the table” Championship title decider? clash

Bournemouth v Fulham

Over on the FoF forum Ludlow Richard, our stats Maestro, pointed out that the 3-0 home win was the fourth win by that score, Stoke, West Brom, Millwall and now Preston NE, beats our previous record of 3 such wins in a season.
The win also means that our home and away records are identical P21 W13 D4 L4. If we score one more goal at home and one more goal away it will be our first season where we have scored 50 goals at home and 50 goals away.

The win against Preston saw our guaranteed promotion, a win against Bournemouth will secure the Championship title!

Hopefully this will be a more exciting game than the home fixture earlier in the season, ParkerBus anyone?
Wouldn’t it be fitting if Mitro scored a hat-trick, if only to prove a point to Mr Parker? but also to beat Guy Wittingham’s 42 goal record from the 1992-93 season.

Curent form:
Bournemouth – WLDDW
Fulham – WWLLW

Our recent record against Bournemouth isn’t too good with only 1 win, 3 losses and 1 draw.

Assuming no injuries my team would be…

Games for the Weekend 20/04

We visit Bournemouth for this weekend’s game.

Bournemouth v Fulham

Both teams had good results last weekend, wasn’t it great to score two and keep a clean sheet!
Not that it really matters but I think we might sneak a result against Bournemouth, they’re a good team but have little to play for, their safe in mid-table but won’t be competing for a Europa run.
Mitro’ is due a goal, or two?, and for some reason I fancy him to get on the score sheet, mind you I think that every game so its about time he proved me right!
