Games for the weekend 01/11…

We welcome Wolves to the Cottage for a 3 o’clock kick off

Fulham v Wolves

On the back of 4 defeats in the league, and scraping a win against Wycombe thanks to Lecomte saving 3 penalties, we face Wolves who are currently bottom of the league, is this the first 6 pointer of the season?
Last November we faced Wolves who were on a terrible run and they comprehensively beat us 1-4, hopefully this weekend will be different.

Our record, for the previous 8 games against Wolves, is so so with 2 wins, 4 losses and 2 draws.

It’ll soon be easier to list who’s not injured, currently Raul, ESR, Muniz, Chukwueze, Andersen, Wilson & Robinson all unavailable?

My team would be, if all of the above are not available then I don’t think we’ve registered enough players to make a full bench, there would need to be several “youngsters” in the squad…

Games for the Week-end 24/02

Another game under lights at the Cottage where we welcome Wolves for a Friday evening 20:00 kick-off

Fulham v Wolves

“Smash and Grab” is the consensus of our result at Brighton, they were clearly “on top” for most of the game yet we managed to get a “last minute” winner, in the past how often has that happened to us?
With Mitro unavailable it was strange that Vinicius didn’t start?, however his contribution to Solomon’s goal was outstanding and if Mitro is out for the rest of the month I think he’ll start every game.
Solomon has 2 goals in 2 games, he also must be close to getting a start, but who would he replace? I can’t see either Bobby, Pereira or Harrison being dropped?
Yet another outstanding display from our back four and we’ve also good replacements “on the bench” in Duffy, Cédric and Kurzawa if needed.
Following on from the Forest “double” we added a “double” against Brighton, we can’t have made many doubles in the top flight and surly none two games in a row?

Wolves had been in really good really good form prior to their last game, they’d won 3 of the previous 4, and will have been frustrated by loosing at home to Bournemouth keeping them just 3 points above the relegation zone.

After August’s 0-0 draw at their place, I’m hoping for a better result from this game.

Current Form:
Fulham – LLDWW
Wolves – WLWWL

our record against Wolves isn’t that good with 4 wins, 11 losses and 6 draws.

I’m assuming that Mitro will be unavailable along with Tom and Kebano, so my team would be…

Games of interest for weekend 24-25/02

This weekend top of the table Wolves visit Craven Cottage

This game will be a tough test for Slaviša and the lads however if we play like we did the last home game against Aston Villa I believe that Fulham will have enough to beat Wolves although I’d take a point for a draw if offered.

If you can’t make it to the game you’ll be able to watch it on Sky TV (17:30 kick-off)

other Championship games of interest this weekend include…

SATURDAY 24TH FEBRUARY

Sheff Wed v Aston Villa

Reading v Derby

SUNDAY 25TH FEBRUARY

Cardiff v Bristol City
