Games for the Week-end 16/09

We get to travel to the City Ground to take on fellow “new boys” Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest v Fulham

With the Chelsea game being postponed this could be a tricky game, for both teams, as we’ve probably lost some of the rhythm and momentum? The “good news” is that the squad have had more time together, get a better understanding of Marco’s vision and, hopefully, injured players, Robinson and Wilson, will be closer to a return.

Forest will be looking at this game as a “must win” having lost their previous three against Bournemouth, Man City and Spurs, they will surely think of us a relegation contenders so this game will be a potential “6 pointer”

Our record against Forest is surprisingly even with 6 wins, 5 losses and 1 draw.

I’m assuming that Robinson will be fit and as Harry could be seen in some of the training video from Motspur Park, I’m going to have him in the squad, my team would be…

Games for the Weekend 23/10…

This weekend we’re off to Robin Hood country to take on Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Sunday at 15:00.

Forest v Fulham

Back to back home wins and with other results going “our way” we’re up to 2nd and have the highest goal difference, thanks to Mitro?, in the league. 5 points behind Bournemouth, they have to lose sometime, but we’re in far better form than after the previous international break and with Cairney, Tete, Kongolo and Carvalho coming back from injury I think that we’re in a “good place”.
Wasn’t it good to see Tom back in a Fulham shirt? and to cap it with a goal, fairy-tail stuff. Mitro, 13 in 13, he’s still on fire! It was also good for Rodak to keep a clean sheet and he made a couple of important saves towards the end of the game. According to the votes on the forum Seri had another MotM performance, he had nearly twice the number of votes for Tom Cairney in second place.

Our record against Forest is another even one with 5 wins, 4 losses and 1 draw. Forest are on a bit of a run since changing their manager winning away at Huddersfield, Barnsley, Birmingham and Bristol City and Blackpool at home. On Tuesday Forest scored twice in injury time to win 1-2 at Bristol City so their going to full of confidence.

My team against Forest would be…

Games for mid-week 07/07

Another mid-week game, this time we’re away to Nottingham Forest.

Forest v Fulham

So after we’d huffed and puffed our dire performance against Birmingham was rescued by a last gasp goal by Onomah.
Forest were pinned back in their local derby by a last minute equaliser, nice to see Chris Martin do us a favour for once.

Forest will be up for this game, a win will see then overtake us once again and may give them “hope” of automatic promotion, in “theory” that’s still possible for us but not the way we’ve played since the re-start, however with both Leeds and West Brom winning it’s very unlikely.

Our record against Forest couldn’t be more even, 4 wins, 4 losses and 1 draw in the most recent games, so this could be a close one?
