Joka’s Puzzle<\/strong> by Kent Cassandra<\/p>\n

A nice little poem written by a member from Friends of Fulham about Slavisa Jokanovic. Have a read here, our over at the Forum<\/a><\/p>\n

“Joka’s puzzle is a promise for a group of fit boys<\/em>
\nTo play attacking football with skill and poise.<\/em>
\nIn the premiership this would not be a prob,<\/em>
\nBut in the Championship, one has to play against yobs.<\/em>
\nEven Messi would struggle in this league,<\/em>
\nSoon succumbing to battle fatigue.<\/em>
\nSmart fouling, cheating and up for a brawl,<\/em>
\nBombarding defences with the long ball.\u00a0<\/em>
\nIt\u2019s the toughest league in the world<\/em>
\nRefereed by black shadows from the underworld.<\/em>
\nIt\u2019s a league that most good players try to avoid,<\/em>
\nAs the skilful ones soon get destroyed.<\/em>
\nTeams can\u2019t take out loans as businesses do<\/em>
\nThey are fined if too many debts accrue.<\/em>
\nSo, what is the solution to Joka\u2019s conundrum,<\/em>
\nIt seems an almost impossible task to overcome.”<\/em><\/p>\n

“Sometimes teams just click, like in Leicester\u2019s year,<\/em>
\nThey were not considered good enough for the Premier.<\/em>
\nMost Fofers say they want Joka to stay<\/em>
\nSo, we must back him to do it in his own way<\/em>
\nFrom the current squad which players should he choose,<\/em>
\nWhen playing against teams that \u2018Mustn\u2019t lose\u2019?<\/em>
\nShould he go positive to win every game?<\/em>
\nKnowing if he loses he will get the blame.<\/em>
\nTo play joka\u2019s way, needs a lot of support,<\/em>
\nCos players are human and sometimes fall short.<\/em>
\nA factor of fail can be the rub of the green,<\/em>
\nInjuries happen and refs can be mean.<\/em>
\nPlayers lose form, trying too hard to please.<\/em>
\nTeams can rise or fall on such things as these.<\/em>
\nHe\u2019s trying his best to stick to his plan,<\/em>
\nOne should wait until May to judge him, if you can.”<\/em><\/p>\n

“So, what can Fulham Fans do to help with his quest.<\/em>
\nGive him encouragement, give bad mouthing a rest.<\/em>
\nDim all the \u2018Gaslighters\u2019 who have lately appeared,<\/em>
\nFor if he\u2019s successful he will be revered.<\/em>
\nHe needs time and support from us and the bosses,<\/em>
\nNo one ever made it without some losses.<\/em>
\nBlame is far far away from support,<\/em>
\nWithout evidence it is just like a kangaroo court.<\/em>
\nKeep blame at bay cos if there\u2019s too much distaste,<\/em>
\nWe will all be tainted by the toxic waste.”<\/em><\/p>\n
