John Vaughan

[Fulham Seaxe]

Sad news that John has passed away aged only 62.

Signed in the summer of 1986 and was first choice goalkeeper in the 1986/87 season.

The following season, Jim Stannard returned to the club and John was reserve keeper. Joined Cambridge United in summer of 1988 where he was part of their team that went from 4th division to 2nd and made second tier promotion play offs.

Recall him having a spell at PNE and went into coaching on retirement as a player.

RIP John

I am in absolute shock, I played youth football with John at Isleworth Colts and we attended the same school Hounslow Manor although he was a year younger than me. My condolences to his family and friends RIP
