DJ Campbell & Nicklas Bendtner

I'm just wondering, what are people's thoughts over the linked move's of DJ Campbell from Blackpool & Nicklas Bendtner from Arsenal.

Lets start with DJ Campbell

I'm going to kick off with my opinion on DJ Campbell, as he has risen with Blackpool from relegation threatened championship side to Play-off winners he has seemed to be in some ways a Hero and a revelation, he seems to be a genuine guy who loves to play football, his enthusiasm is very good and the way he plays his football is in the right way. DJ Campbell was one of the stand out players in the Premier League for me last season, not beyond the fact that he played for the 'Weakest' side in the league. But he also scored 13 goals in the League. Something that was matched by our own Clint Dempsey. You could say it was a harder task for DJ Campbell too as he was fielded within a 'Weaker' squad.

As we understand we would be signing DJ Campbell on a contract, to me he is a very likable character and has proven he CAN score at the top level, I would hazard a guess that we would use him frequently in Group Stage Europa League games, aswell as Premier League games coming off the back of a Thursday night Europa League game. Any thoughts on DJ Campbell? It's a bit of a long shot.

Now on to Nicklas Bendtner

Nicklas Bendtner is more of a signing I would like to see, he has yet to be proven properly at Arsenal, BUT he has very good assets, he is tall which poses a good aerial challenge, he has shown he can finish, but he does not quite fit in with the style of football that Arsenal like to play, so I reckon that maybe he would fit in more with our style of football. Also one bonus is he seems not very keen on leaving London with his young family. The only problem that comes with this deal is that Arsene Wenger's asking price for the Denmark International is 8Million. This leaves us to consider the place of a loan move, BUT yet again it leaves us wobblind as he is on the region of £50,000 a week, It seems Arsenal will have to pay some of his Wage. The most likely if it comes to it will be a one year loan move, if succesful then eye up a next summer buy.

Just want to hear everybody else's thoughts on these two players. Thanks.
