..............who may, for example be on $100K per week and close to his
'sell by date' should surely be approached if he's what we need.
I'm sure the recruitment team knows this but I read a lot of comments
on here saying.
"Oh, he's on $100K we couldn't possibly afford him"

We could afford him if he's prepared to take a drop in his wages, comparable
to his expiry date beyond 2019/2020.

eg: I can't afford that house, but I'll make an offer
