Under Marco we’ve enjoyed the League Cup reaching the latter stages on a regular basis, perhaps Álvaro can take us a step further?
It will be interesting to see how many “first-team” players Álvaro selects. With the cup game coming so early in the season, it offers an opportunity to give some players extra minutes, but it’s also the perfect chance for the “second string” to stake their claim for a place in the first team.
