Sess & Cairney!  Both know what this fixture means.  Hope we can get that elusive early goal and boss proceedings

Cairney starts. Lukic is going to have his work cut out for 60 minutes.

Can't see us winning this. We have no threat in the box, (Although Raul gives us more than Muniz), Brentford haven't been beaten for a few games now and will have gained confidence from that. Glad to see Lukic back. TC is a gamble but could be genius if he plays his best game. I like Sess better than Robinson on current form, but I'm worried about the midfield.

True. Even if it was his first foul, it was worthy of a yellow. I hope the ref will be consistent though and if it happens on the other side, the result will be the same.

so both teams have had close range misses over the top, and other than that, a whole lot of missed placed passes from both sides.  Fulham did pick up our accuracy over the latter stages - having been down at 64% midway through, but now at 86%.

Decent half overall. Apart from that chance at the end, they hardly created anything. We played well up until the final third where we need to sharpen up. Lots of poor passes in the final third, after having really good build up prior to that.

Shame to see Iwobi injured. I'd maybe try to play ESR on the left, Wilson in the middle and Chukwueze on the right.

We need players who can take them on and get to the byline so od keep chuk out there for now with bobb on the right late on and Wilson moving centrally as SS with raul if we need a change. King for him then after that on 75

Difficult thing with Wilson is his ability to score which means we rarely sub him even if he's having a meh game. Understandably

Not a dreadful half but far from a good one either really , we simply can not get the ball to Muniz with no wingers breaking lines

Also, the ref seems to be giving us a lot of non-existent fouls as fouls. Jensen didn't get booked for pullback, Lukic did. Thiago hit Andersen in the head with his elbow, no yellow there either. Tbf, Bassey made about 3-4 fouls and wasn't booked either.

A half of two halves.  When Brentford press we are in close to 100% tortoise mode, when Brentford go "shape", we are better.

Suspect it might get a bit easier once it's Brentford with sun in eyes.

This might come down to how much pressing Brentford have left in their legs, and it might be quite a lot.

We are in the fight though.

Both teams still have a chance of qualifying for the European competitions. I don't think either manager will be happy with a draw.

We are closely matched too. Some of passing has been frustrating to watch but I've been impressed with our defending.

Maybe he is reflecting on what many now think, 'I can't get any sort of tune out of this lot anymore'. Undoubtedly Frank is there as a guest but I would give a shiny penny for his thoughts.

So far we are incapable of delivering a decent attacking pass, nothing new there!

We are going to stumble into an unnecessary defeat or maybe a fluky win?

with every missed pass he puts his hand out and whines a bit - not the mindset we need to pull it out.

Now he's just slowing everything down!

Bit of a snoozefest, yet again we looked very blunt in attack. That being said we defended really well, Thiago didn't get a sniff, both centre backs did well. Obviously Leno's outstanding save the main and perhaps only highlight.

Brentford looked much better in attack than they did on the reverse fixture, so lots of credit due to the manager. Pretty good point overall.

Non-event. one point each changes nothing.
How long since we've scored? I can't see where the next goal is coming from. We've a glut of potentially good wingers but no strikers good enough for them to supply. Muniz just occupies space and hopes for a mistake to give him a chance. Raul is more fluid but has no pace anymore.
