Quote from: LittleErn on April 18, 2026, 01:21:02 PMWe've huffed and we've puffed but there's no chance of blowing the ball over the line. Having said that, Brentford are no better.
But if we keep huffing near their goal we might just force an own goal.
That's
the definition of clutching at straws, but it may well be our best chance!

Shame to see Iwobi injured. I'd maybe try to play ESR on the left, Wilson in the middle and Chukwueze on the right.

Marco needs to do something about the 10 spot, whether Bobb or Wilson. Too many games (including today) where the striker gets left completely isolated without any presence behind them.

I was more thinking that in terms of letting Chukwueze play in his preferred position, while keeping Wilson. I thought ESR played well today, so far.

A half of two halves.  When Brentford press we are in close to 100% tortoise mode, when Brentford go "shape", we are better.

Suspect it might get a bit easier once it's Brentford with sun in eyes.

This might come down to how much pressing Brentford have left in their legs, and it might be quite a lot.

We are in the fight though.

End of season drivel.

Both teams still have a chance of qualifying for the European competitions. I don't think either manager will be happy with a draw.

We are closely matched too. Some of passing has been frustrating to watch but I've been impressed with our defending.

Fulham also playing more as a team.

Come On Fulham!!!

akf

unsure if it is sess or the service from iwobi/chuk, but he seems to be a step behind a bunch of passes.

SerbianLad

Incredible, their player hits their teammate in thr head, without the ball, and we need to stop our counter attack because of it.

SerbianLad

Poor first touch from Sess slows the attack down, then a terrible shot from Lukic.

SerbianLad

That looked like a foul on Bassey to me, not the other way around.

We are well on top in this half. Need more composure in the final third still

TC's Sporran

nice simple move down the left. need to see more of that.

St Eve

Sess is getting into the right positions

SP

Sounds as though Chucky is playing well

Not even the 60th minute and many of the guys are clearly out of breath.

0-0 from a few years ago was played on a sunny day and it was as dead as this
