On a ferry back from IoW so can't attend tonight. Come on Fulham!
Any chance Sky could actually cover our match (which is what is advertised on the Prem League channel).
:bonneannexl: COYW!!!
Happy New Year! Hope it's a great one for everybody.
Any streams?
Hoping for another fast start. COYW!
COYW! We're due a win over Palace.
Would love Joa to score the winner for us today.
Classless by Fulham fans there, Who are ya and come on you whites during the minute applause? Morons

Stroking it around nicely so far, without creating much.

Yeah their gameplan will revolve around hitting us on the break so we'll have to keep moving the ball to create something. Not games we historically do well in, but getting a lead is key so that it brings Palace out at us
Wish Berge would shoot...
Why do we never have any attackers in the box...

Our pressing is working well so far though. We are winning the ball back with relative ease once we lose it.

I hope we are marking him tightly.

He tried to play a difficult pass when there appeared to be a clear sight of goal. Makes no sense.
Sky showing stat that since Nov 1st, only Arsenal, City and Villa have got more points than Fulham.
To be fair they were all in the 20s, Fulham on 18.
Not bad though
Talking about Kasami's goal
Cuenca carded...
Poor giveaway from Wilson and Cuenca makes a professional foul and gets booked

To be fair if the player in front didn't get in way and let it hit off their back heel were through on goal
Twice Wilson has rubbish passes in the space of 10 seconds there, feels a bit like the West Ham game again where we're giving them chances more than they're making them themselves
Bit sloppy last five minutes....
Panic stations from that long throw in.
Not the most convincing defending against that long throw
Kevin well offside.
Why did Kevin hurry up there. He should have waited and he would have had 1 on 1 with their keeper?
not even close
Kevin does not have that killer instinct in front of goal.
Brilliant from Kevin...
Really should have scored
That was excellent! Unfortunately ESR missed the ball, keeper saved Wilson's effort and Raul's effort was just wide.
gotta bury that
So close
Much better. Keep it up!
Oof good play from kev, spoon from Raul sadly
If we could only be more ruthless in front of goal.
Nevertheless we are playing a decent game overall.
It is one way traffic so far.
ESR reading the game brilliantly so far again. Another good showing from him this half
Another good attack. Corner
Wilson must get fed up of making runs and not being passed to
Palace are afraid of Kevin
We're getting the crosses but not much happening in the box.

Kevin looking bright. Certainly doesn't look to be low on confidence which is pleasing.
Another long throw coming in
I wish we'd take some shots from outside the box. You never know what can happen. Deflection, keeper error. We don't seem to know how else to attach apart from crossing from our left

Oh, it was Cuenca. Whew...
The Palace playbook worries me, we need to take one of these chances.
Crikey I've only just looked at our bench. Basically no options
A bit much from Cuenca there.
Cuenca falling over like a lemon cost us a goal....
Cr*p
That is 100% Cuenca's fault for feigning the injury and having to go off
Of course we concede after that
Arent Palace meant to give the ball back ?

Cuenca's fault for exaggerating slight contact. Poor from Robinson, who needs to do much better there. Great ball in, not much can be done imo. Palace just have our number.

Robinson big difference between not being match fit and having lost your edge
Poor decision to rush in by Robinson and equally poor dive by Cueneca!
Why does Robinson and Kevin not work? I do not get our patterns of play right now down the left. Kevin needs to get it wider, then cut in and have Robinson overlap. Willian and Iwobi have done it but Kevin/Robinson never seem to create that pattern of play (or not enough). Its ridiculous how toothless we are down the left.

I think that's absolutely right, so often it's about the effectiveness of partnerships and this one doesn't look right. I'm wondering whether Kevin would link more effectively with Sess at LB.
We have absolutely no idea how to attack. Granted we have no options on the bench.
We desperately need to buy a CM and CF
We've done a 180 in the past 10 minutes.
We must not let this unfortunate situation affect our game, we must not panic and lose our discipline.
Plenty of time to recover and turn this game around .

Quote from: HobGoblin on January 01, 2026, 06:20:52 PMThis playing out from the back everything is suicidal. Give it away over and over.
The whole point of playing out from the back is to play through the press quickly then have a player advantage up field to exploit.
Unfortunately for us, we a) don't play quickly b) give the ball away constantly in dangerous areas

As usual v palace
More chances, didn't take em, find ourselves losing.
Worryingly not much firepower off the bench....well....we might have but well never know with JKA given he never gets more than 6 minutes
For those that missed it, Kevin shot from about 25 years, Henderson spilled it, Wilson on the rebound had a shot blocked from close range by Lacroix. Brilliant block.
Whenever we play palace I think we're looking the better side then we concede!
Argh!
What I would give for a draw from this game
Same old against this lot. Dominate in spells, concede a stupid goal, then struggle to break them down. So boring.
Can't get over how poor that was from Antonee. He knows the CB next to him is off the pitch and he does that.
Diop on for Cuenca
This performance so far looks similar to our losses to Palace since Glasner took over. We dominated and created some good chances which we failed to capitalise on and then we concede a goal from a defensive lapse. I still think that the referee should have given us the foul there, no matter how much Cuenca exaggerated that contact. Palace looked more confident since scoring.
Cuenca has a booking and has already made 1 or 2 fouls after that, he needs to be careful.
Not sure who I'd bring on or off, as we largely played well.
Ugh it's awfully predictable sadly. Lovely control but with very little chances created followed by the inevitable cheap goal conceded.
Time to regroup dust ourselves down, and bounce back.
Will say at least this game Raul got a couple of decent knock ons. Still not really dominating the game in the way Id like but that's a bit better than last few games outside the goals. no doubt we'll leave him on till 88 mins hoping he gets that one golden chance or penalty to put away.
That goal was 90% down to Robinson. Shockingly weak challenge.
I am pretending my computer is in the Netherlands and watching a stream of Sky Sport 2 Live. It showed the football right up to the ref's half time whistle.
Positive attack near the end. Palace goalie did well to defend Harry's close range shot.

Pretty bloody unlucky but yeh still a poor challenge from robinson
Sky went to adverts as it was HT during the Liverpool v Leeds game
Just watching the replays and, as well as the much discussed Cuenca stupidity and Robinson's dreadful defending, I have to agree that Anderson's positioning was also awful. A collective **** up from our back four (except Tete).
Imperative that we make a fast start to the 2nd half. Palace have their tails up and we need to seize back control and ideally create chances.
Honestly, in the game I'm watching I thought Cuenca is playing well. He's been well positioned throughout most of the game. His yellow was a smart one. Did he exaggerate the foul? Yes, but it was a foul. It looked like he got a finger in his eye.
For the goal, would have been nice if Anderson, knowing they really have one threat, would have marked him considering he knows full well Cuenca wasn't on the pitch. Just in no mans land.
Slow snails pace football as usual where is the passion and desire never going to score could be there until next January

Still fuming, what was he thinking? He knows full well you stay down, you go off. WHY is a CB doing that first half at 0-0?
If we were 1-0 up with 3 mins left and under the cosh I don't mind a winger doing that piece of sh1thousing, NEVER a CB though and NEVER at 0-0 in the first half.

Quote from: Deeping_white on January 01, 2026, 06:53:23 PMAny danger the linesman can just put his flag up for the clearly obvious ones rather than waiting about 2 business days
I don't like the new rules of waiting. If someone was offside then just flag it

I get it for the contentious ones but that last Mateta one was miles off and just needs to be flagged straight away
Can we please, please try out JKA from 75mins at least. Would just be interested to see how we play more than anything and chuck a couple crosses in to a tall man
Quote from: Deeping_white on January 01, 2026, 06:53:23 PMAny danger the linesman can just put his flag up for the clearly obvious ones rather than waiting about 2 business days
And for some reason he flagged ours?
Lukic looks knackered
Silva going mental at Raul for some reason
Quote from: jayffc on January 01, 2026, 06:51:04 PMGoddamnit! Gotta score
Kevin and Robinson combining well again
They combined poorly in the first half but certainly shown signs of improvement this second half.
Terrible pass from Raul there
Raul looks cream crackered. Gotta come off.
Only way Raul comes off is in the back of an ambulance, Silva's blind spot will never be addressed
Berge off for TC
So Lukic stays on.
Berge rather than Lukic is a choice...
Quote from: Twig on January 01, 2026, 06:58:49 PMSo Lukic stays on.
I would have been fine with either one coming off tbf, both look tired.
Quote from: Deeping_white on January 01, 2026, 06:58:29 PMOnly way Raul comes off is in the back of an ambulance, Silva's blind spot will never be addressed
Another game of doing very little, a couple flick ons but should have hit the target from his two main chances.
Gave ball away very dangerously there. But....as we've seen he can randomly pop up with a goal out of nowhere and so it will remain this way. Wether it's to our detriment or not
Berge on a yellow so that makes sense
How is that a Palace throw?
Quote from: Rj Fulham on January 01, 2026, 06:49:10 PMHow are Nigeria going at Afcon? any chance they'll be coming home early?
Nigeria top of Group C won 3 out of 3.
Not looking likely.
Castagne has been poor since coming on
Ffs raul is not paying attention
Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeease take Raul off Silva
What sort of hold does Raul have over Marco?
Cuenca makes another foul. He's in real trouble now. Maybe it would be sensible to sub him off for Diop
Cuenca gonna get a 2nd yellow soon
If we sign a striker, what's the chances of Silva actually playing him over Raul before the end of the season?
A sniff of the top 7 and we struggle.... Always the way.
Quote from: Deeping_white on January 01, 2026, 07:01:55 PMPleeeeeeeeeeeeeeease take Raul off Silva
I agree but who's coming on for him though?
We have been really really poor since Cuenca feigned injury.
Quote from: Caedal on January 01, 2026, 07:03:20 PMIf we sign a striker, what's the chances of Silva actually playing him over Raul before the end of the season?
Zero. We could sign Harry Kane and Marco would bench him.

Plus he will have more energy and will give Palace something to worry about.
Quote from: Twig on January 01, 2026, 07:02:49 PMWhat sort of hold does Raul have over Marco?
Part of the difficulty with him scoring the penalty and tap in last games. It justified keeping him on for 90minutes ...he could well do it again. Can only hope he does but really just would like to see another option at least tried for a bit 🤷
But hey...bring on the raul leveller please god
0 attempts on goal in second half (hit the post of course tho)
I'd bring on Diop, Adama and JKA for Cuenca, Wilson and Raul.
We are getting 0 from this should we play till tomorrow. Hurry up and end plz
Absolutely begging them to score a second. So so poor

MS change the striker you mug
Andersen saved TC there
We don't look like scoring but Palace really do.
Zero attempts on target second half
Poor cross from Kevin there
Castagne dropping a 0/10 here too
Kevin gets the ball in and nobody there!
Castagne is so poor

Cross in by Kevin, Raul nowhere in the area ......

Not sure why so many want Raul hooked. Very few of this team are likely to score: we need to keep him, ESR and Wilson on however they're playing. Bring on Asari by all means but for someone else and go two up top.
Quote from: SerbianLad on January 01, 2026, 07:06:25 PMPoor cross from Kevin there

I only think he should come off because he's clearly gassed.
Wilson has gone awol
Weak header from Castagne
Ffs we're trying to play tiki taka, just pass it to someone in view of the goal and shoot
Another good ball from kevin. Good game from him tbh.
Stick a big man on and let's pelt the box
Poor touch from Raul there.
Lukic has looked sharp since TC came on
Yes Cairney !
Raul looks like a man who has 0 energy left
Kevin has been ok but i dont get overwhelmed with expectation when he has the ball
Ge JKA on please, he's 6'5 and energy to burn.
We appear to be sleepwalking to a 1-0 loss.....

Get in there my son.
If only one or two others would shoot from outside the box.
TOM EFFING CAIRNEY
TC has looked really good in recent cameos.
A beauty, and it bounced up awkwardly so it's a technically brilliant goal. Come on Fulham!

thankfully TC from the older school of wanting to bang it in from 20+ yards out, most players coming into the game in the last 5 or so years have been coached into the art of tap ins sadly
Well done to Kevin. Excellent pressing there
Well done Kevin
We need to keep playing and not just dig in. We looked a lot better chasing the game. Go and win it!
A solid performance from Kevin tonight
Traore makes sense, use his pace.
Really impressed with Kev this eve.
Why Kevin off for Reed?
I am not a fan of those subs...
But I don't get bringing on Reed.
Harrison reed before JKA cos lol
Go on Adama do the funniest thing and score a winner for us before we flog you to the cockneys
ESR to the left in a more traditional 4-5-1?
So tense, I'd be happy to take a draw right now!! Especially with our subs!
Silva would rather put Lecomte on as a outfield player before giving JKA a chance.
Not sure about these subs but happy to be proven wrong when Adama slams one in.
I sense we will win this
Adama didn't fancy moving for that pass...
Castagne has been hideous today. His worst game in a Fulham shirt
I loathe Adama's effort levels so much, Castagne has overtaken him trying to get back there after he's had to stop and change direction

He made no attempt to support in the recovery, he could see it was a bad pass and got his deckchair and cigar out
Castagne misses an absolute sitter
ESR first 90 mins for Fulham incoming?
Oh castagne! Should score!
Had to score
ESR will complete a game for the first time in a Fulham shirt today. He's put in a good display and looks much fitter.
Sorry but I don't think it's acceptable for a professional to miss from there. Castagne has been awful.
How could Castagne miss that?

Missed another sitter

f*ck me our finishing has been awful in the second half, could've been 4-1
To clear chances to win this game.
all these corners if only we had a 6ft 4 bloke on the bench
This is a game we really should have won comfortably
Castagne's was worse but neither is good enough for a PL footballer.
Jesus
We 100% should have won this game
2 golden chances at the end to add to rauls misses
Gutting .how do palace get away with it against us time and time again
We should have won that definitely
Can we ask for bigger goals next time...?
TC saved us there
We don't want to score.
Dowe have JKA all season? I can see BM wanting him back if he gets no mins
Fulham finished strongly, should have won in the end.
Unbeaten in 2026.
Should've been a win.
Those chances fall to pretty much anyone else and we grab that win
Lets be honest outside of a 10 min window in the first half we've absolutely dominated that game and should've won
Quote from: The Cravenette on January 01, 2026, 07:29:14 PMDowe have JKA all season? I can see BM wanting him back if he gets no mins
We do but if we sign Pepe ya gotta assume he goes back. What's the point in being here if he can't even get 5mins and isn't playing for the youth either
Btw, right decision by Marco to keep Lukic on, he was one of our better players after TC came on.

Much the better side away from home. Tough one to take with a string of difficult games incoming
Great game and a very good and hard earned Point. Captain Cairney did it again, pure class. How I wish we had a few more deadly finishers in the side. Both teams could've scored more goals, if the Castagne chance fell to Cairney or Wilson, that's a goal.

Yes agreed on Reed too, even if I was against the sub. Only sub that didn't work was Castagne, but unfortunately it was a sub we had to make.

I disagree. We were much better than Palace before we conceded. They were better in the short period between their goal and half time.
Should have been a win but on balance I am happy with a point. Was starting to wonder how we would score against them until TC popped up with that great finish. Castagne should have slotted that although credit to the keeper for the save.

Very unlucky...on another day we'd have won 1-3... Mr Silva got the subs right... hope we put in a complaint about the ref sending Cuenca to the line
Good point and another very good away performance. Brilliant goal from Tom, and we finished very strong. Castagne did it nearly right, 9 out of 10 times that goes in. Fantastic save. Would have loved the win, but it could of been one of those , where we got nothing. Happy new year to all.

We did a lot right butin the final third we didn't pose much of a threat, conversely they looked really dangerous with every attack.

I disagree, but fair enough. I thought the only real chance they created was the one from which they scored, and we had 10 men on the pitch at that moment. 11 vs 11 we created more and better chances. We had 3 chances in a single attack(the one where ESR missed the ball, Wilson had a shot saved and Raul missee the target) that was better than anything they created apart from their goal.
Agree with H4 The ref (I thought) made some poor decisions against us. Nothing outrageous but he was nit picking in their favour. Decent result in the end but , if only we had finished it off.
We were a bit slow , a bit loose with our passing , our attempts at switching play with angled crosses didn't really work . 1st half Palace moved Hughes a bit deeper in front of their back three , they were a bit more stable then . We just didn't apply enough pressure to create chances , then Cuenca is on the touchline and they take the lead . 2nd half Palace didn't really park the bus just a narrow mid block , and again we were a bit loose with our passing, not enough pressure . Silva made some changes which saw us level with the Cairney strike, open goal chance with Castange but he's direct to the keeper and Andersen with another chance at the death . Undefeated in 4 , point away and we move on
