Eh? For the first 40 mins it was working perfectly, completely in control until the defence collectively had a brainfart through a multitude of individual errors

The whole point of playing out from the back is to play through the press quickly then have a player advantage up field to exploit.

Unfortunately for us, we a) don't play quickly b) give the ball away constantly in dangerous areas

Worryingly not much firepower off the bench....well....we might have but well never know with JKA given he never gets more than 6 minutes

For those that missed it, Kevin shot from about 25 years, Henderson spilled it, Wilson on the rebound had a shot blocked from close range by Lacroix. Brilliant block.

Same old against this lot. Dominate in spells, concede a stupid goal, then struggle to break them down. So boring.

This performance so far looks similar to our losses to Palace since Glasner took over. We dominated and created some good chances which we failed to capitalise on and then we concede a goal from a defensive lapse. I still think that the referee should have given us the foul there, no matter how much Cuenca exaggerated that contact. Palace looked more confident since scoring.

Cuenca has a booking and has already made 1 or 2 fouls after that, he needs to be careful.

Not sure who I'd bring on or off, as we largely played well.
